I have really enjoyed the device for reading books. It is better on my eyes right before bed. I also think it is a good size to read on. The screen is a little bit more brittle than I expected, but overall pretty good. Be careful not to accidentally use your nails on the screen as it can scratch it. The storage size is good, but I would not read a lot of manga or image heavy files on it as they will take up space very quickly. As for the text to speech functionality, that is bluetooth based which caught me off-guard. I probably just missed reading that somewhere, but I was kind of hoping it would have speakers to have the sound output. But it is still usable.

I own both Kindle basic model and Kindle Paperwhite 6" and 6.8". Touch HD 3 combined best of those two devices. It has warm light and non flush screen. Recessed screen has better text clarity than flush screen. HD 3 is one of the lightest device weighting at 158 gram, which is great single hand usage. The default English dictionary on Pocketbook is lacking. There are many words it doesn't have definitions for. Dictionary does speak the word (Kindle doesn't have this). Text to speech function can be useful with many different languages. What surprised me is the music player. MP3 sounds so good through the provided USB to 3.5mm headphone jack.

Update: recent update fixed the glitch and it works great now. I took this along for some evening tent time entertainment while backpacking for 2 weeks. It held up wonderfully in my pack - including several days of thunderstorms. No damage. The brightness levels were perfect. This is also the perfect lightweight size. I was able to buy some ebooks from Google books and load them on here quickly by sending them over an email link. I bought this in open box for under $100. There seems to be a bit of glitchiness when swiping to turn the page, but actually turns it back some pages (hence 4 stars) but otherwise I'm glad I chose this over the Kindle.

I have tried every Kindle, Book, Kobo, etc. and these eReaders win, every time. I absolutely love this one. Just pre-ordered the new Kindle Paperwhite 11 a few weeks ago but going to cancel and order a Pocketbook Inkpad Pro 3.

So disappointed! I wanted a smaller eReader and this size was perfect.. Such a chore to load books, a process that I consistently failed to achieve. I found I had to use wifi and online reading apps to enjoy my books. Battery charge didn't last as long as I expected, and could only be charged via USB connected to a computer. I would have returned but I wasted too much time trying to get it to work. Sorry, but I'm not impressed.

Nachdem ich mich jahrelang mit verschiedenen Tolinos geärgert habe, weil diese eine grottenschlechte Software haben und unzählige Male abgestürzt sind, habe ich mich entschieden endlich die Marke zu wechseln. Tolino ist echt der letzte Schrott, unverständlich wie die guten Bewertungen zusammen kommen. Jetzt zu dem Touch Hd 3. Der erste Eindruck: Sieht sehr gut aus. Sehr schmal und gut in der Haptik. Die Software und das Menü ist eine andere Liga zum Vergleich mit Tolino. Da fehlt es an nichts und es funktioniert alles super. Die Einstellungsmöglichkeiten sind echt eine Klasse für sich. Gut, er reagiert manchmal etwas träge, das ist aber Jammern auf hohen Niveau. Die Ausleuchtung des Bildschirms ist vollkommen in Ordnung, ich sehe da keine Lichthöfe. Hell genug ist er auch. Die mechanischen Tasten sind auch super, man kann sie sogar selbst konfigurieren, was will man mehr. Das einzige negative was mir einfällt ist der An/Aus Knopf. Der ist etwas klein und schwer zu betätigen, da ist noch Verbesserungspotential. Das Allerwichtigste: Er ist jetzt nach fast einem Monat noch nie abgestürzt. Alles in allem ein super Reader den ich uneingeschränkt empfehlen kann. Hände weg von dem Tolino Schrott! Nach 4 Monaten im Gebrauch, löst sich nach einem Urlaub am Strand am Rand die Beschichtung. Und zwar anständig! So etwas darf natürlich gar nicht passieren, Gerät wurde eingeschickt.

Finalmente sono stati sistemati alcuni bachi dell'edizione precedente. Questo ebook è ora perfetto e funziona a meraviglia.

Realmente creo que este es el mejor lector que hay, puedes ponerles luz y puedes hacer que sea cálida (yo prefiero tener siempre apagada su luz), puedes girar el lector y leer en horizontal. No he tenido broncas con la compatibilidad de formatos. La app en el celular no la uso eso si, no la uso porque el chiste era no leer más en el celular así que no le doy muy bola. Es cómodo, ligero, de fácil lectura incluso con la letra en tamaño pequeño (si, también puedes ajustar el tamaño de letra), la batería le dura un montón en serio, yo he tardado un mes en tener que cargarlo y lo abro a diario. Ah, si te sugiero comprarte la funda ;-)

J'ai voulu me procurer la liseuse Pocketbook surtout pour pouvoir télécharger des livres numériques empruntés à la bibliothèque. J'avais une liseuse Kobo mais depuis la nouvelle version de Adobe il y avait toujours le code DRM ce qui empêche de télécharger les livres. Avec Pocketbook il n'y a plus ce problème. C'est très facile de télécharger les livres, il y a deux façons. Avec un ordinateur ou avec un courriel Pocketbook. Les livres se téléchargent comme un charme. Points négatifs: les boutons pour avancer ou reculer les pages sont en bas et pas très visibles. J'aime mieux sur le côté comme Kobo. Mais je vais m'habituer. Les livres pour acheter cependant sont seulement en anglais un autre point qu'il faudrait penser à changer. Un bon achat. Je la recommande
