This say semi-rigid. is it flexible enough to wrap our pvc waste water pipes to block the noise of flowing water?

probably not, it's actually pretty rigid and holds shape well. so if you tried to bend it around pipes it would probably tear.

Does this really weigh 48 lb? That would mean each panel is 4lb
