Stay Dry
I ordered this and it was received promptly. I had this tent in the military and have never been as dry with inclement weather as I was with this tent. That is why I purchased it.

Bad and Broken
When i opened the tent to use out in the field for the army, the rain cover was stuck to each other and started peeling off when i was trying to get it opened. As I was trying to get the poles attached, i noticed that quite a few were broken and attempt to fix them was done badly with duct tape by the seller. The tent also smelled really bad as if it had been wet and put away without drying. Definitely military grade if you ask me (iykyk). My army friends and I joked about how this tent was probably in afghanistan or something.

Good for the price
Now I won't owe the Army quadruple this amount once I gotta turn in my gear! Doesn't get better than that

New tent
The tent had all the parts and wasn't too hard to set up. It did smell a little funny and had a little dirt but it's the military they re use everything so wasn't expecting it too brand new. I would recommend putting the tent in a pillow case and washing it to get rid of the smell, but other than that it was a decent tent.

Mold
The tent was free of holes and the zippers all work. All items were accounted for, in good condition. HOWEVER, the mold situation was so severe that as soon as I opened the amazon package the smell of vomit began to fill the room. I had to go straight outside with it and "attempt" to set it up to get air in there, I said attempt because it didnt happen right away... It was stuck together on the inside, the fly as well. Soaking in the tub helped get it apart, hung it up out side due to the unserviceable smell. How that passed CIF in that state of neglect is... almost impressive. AMENDMENT: The seller did reimburse me what looks like half the 130 bucks I paid, for this I moved from 2 to 3 stars.

Utilitarian in all the right ways
For the size it's pretty lightweight, only has minimal wear and tear on the rain fly, and is totally sufficient for one person. I don't want a fancy tent and don't care about being able to stand up inside. This one gets the job done.I wanted a freestanding (no stakes required) lightweight net tent with a rain fly and preferably something low in a camouflage pattern. This checks almost all those boxes. It's a little lower than my waist at the highest point (I'm just under 6' with boots on). UCP sucks but at least it's faded and dull now, and you can paint over that anyway. It's about as lightweight as you can get without sacrificing size or durability. With only three poles, it's a very quick setup. The only sleeves are in the rain fly. The tent itself clips onto the poles. I could set it up with a blindfold on in under five minutes. Can't vouch for quality control in used products - it's always gonna be a gamble - but mine did come with the repair kit and is almost intact.Very satisfied. If you want something utilitarian, durable and stealthy, it's perfect.

False advertising for “new/surplus” option.
I ordered the “new/surplus” option for the tent, tent arrived missing pole bags, stinky, full of sand, had a broken headlamp inside it, trash, and initials written on the tag. I would say it is less than “used-fair” quality, poor really. Definitely shouldn’t be listed as new surplus. I would keep it for a half price discount, as I can still use it, but I’m not paying “new/surplus” money for this very well used nasty tent.
