Starsky & Hutch - SteelBook [Blu-ray] [2004]

Having remembered the original series I was sceptical about this movie. Really enjoyed it with some real laugh out loud moments. Great cameo appearances, good nods to the originals.

My sister asked if I would like to watch Starsky and Hutch with her. I thought 'No' as my mind went back to the TV series. Well I did watch it and would definitely recommend it as highly enjoyable, light hearted, fun. Loved it.

Bought this film to replace my old dvd copy for the bluray version, Now bluray disks are becoming more affordable I'm replacing my all time favourite movies to bluray, The movie is fine and the enhanced audio is great but maybe I should have checked the screen ratio as this version is in letterbox and not full screen like my older dvd version but still one of my favourites

Bargain dvd. Good film. Bit saucy in parts for Christian audiences, Ned Flanders glasses would steam up twice. Funny film tho. Great soundtrack.

I've got fond memories of the TV series as a child so this was a welcome movie to see. I'm not a fan of remakes but they went all out and made it a fun action comedy caper with Ben Stiller as Starsky, Owen Wilson as Hutch and SnoopDog as Huggy Bear. The car stunts are excellent but what holds this together is the lovely cinematography, fun script, and excellent performances by the entire cast. This is a definite must watch movie even if you're not a fan of the old series.

Ben Stiller (David Starsky) and Owen Wilson (Ken Hutchinson) combine for this comedy version of the popular TV show. Starsky being the more serious of the two who does everything by the book where as Hutch is the laidback maverick who takes a more unconventional approach to crime fighting.The two are unwillingly brought together in order to stop a huge drug operation with Vince Vaughn as the drug lord. Helped by Huggy Bear (Snoop Dog) will the boys catch the bad guys?I've heard mixed reviews for this one, to be honest i thought it was pretty funny, there's some original moments and quite a few good scenes, i think its definitely worth a look.

Arrived on time, unlike the Rise of the foot solider dvd 😏It was in excellent working order, just as all our other DVD's have been, hence why I'll continue to keep ordering from the 'new and used'.
