This is a great tool, not overly expensive but great quality and value for the money, this kit allows you to work with a positive or negative pressure on the fluid. It is very easy to use and simple to clean, comes in a well made carry case with a wide selection of fittings and spare seals.

Honestly, for the price it made re-building and bleeding my breaks super easy, its fairly well built (for the price) and i did not seem to have any problems with leaking, the instructions are clear and straightforward it works like a charm!

I used this vacuum pump to bleed a brake sytem on a recreational aircraft that I could not bleed properly with a standard pressure bleeder. Once I got the vacuum pumps set up properly with a good air tight seal at the brake bleed nipple it efficiently pulled the trapped air out of the brake system. The vacuum pump worked well but like other reviewers I found the rubber connectors that fit onto the bleed nipple leaked badly. I solved the problem by using a short length of silicone tube to connect from the vacuum device bleed pipe onto the caliper bleed nipple. I also found it necessary to seal the thread on the bleed nipple with PTFE tape to stop the vacuum device pulling air along the bleed nipple thread. So in summary a bit of a faff to set up but it then quickly bled the air out of a system that proved impossible to bleed with a standard pressure bleeding kit. Money well spent even if it only ever gets used on this one job. I downgraded the rating from 5 to 4 because an otherwise excellent kit was let down by the leaky rubber connectors provided with the kit.

Many decades working around motorcycles so bleeding brakes is easy for me from classics to modern, although when you are working on a dry system for example in this case a new reservoir and hose it can be time-consuming, even using a reverse bleed method which is quite common. But I thought for £13 I would try this the price for a cheap bottle of wine. INCREDIBLE fully bleed in 15 mins!!!!! Doing it, the old way would take at least an hour maybe a hour an half from a dry system. It took me with this cheap tool 15 minutes from 100% dry system. I would say read instructions there very simple but read the instructions and you won’t be disappointed. I am absolutely delighted with this and if it doesn’t last it’s a bottle of wine I don’t purchase, absolutely delighted customer.

I was most interested in using this to make the job of bleedingbike brake calipers easier than doing it 100% manually. This product doesn't help at all. The fitting onto the brake caliper bleed nipple is not as tight as it needs to be and air is introduced. The worst part is the fluid capturing bottle. It's flimsy and low quality, and again air is introduced as it is not air tight (which is fundamental for it to work effectively). I ended up going back to the fully manual method as it works effectively, just takes longer.

​I do not recommend this product to anyone, because not only does it work poorly, but it is actually painful to use. ​To achieve even a minimal amount of pressure or vacuum, you have to pump it by hand incredibly many times. The work becomes an absolute nightmare especially when I switch it to vacuum mode: at that point, the mechanism is so stiff and heavy that the constant squeezing completely strains your wrist, and it could even cause an injury. It is not practical at all, and its ergonomics are non-existent (zero). Stay far away from this if you want to avoid wrist pain!

Excellent kit, this seems to work well on my motorcycles. I have found bleeding brakes problematic in the past but this has really helped get it right first go. Glad i bought it. Follow the instructions and make sure you dont get fluid in the pump.

This product does the job very easily, but you need to be patient and learn how to use it properly. Watch some YouTube videos on how to bleed your brakes to ensure you are doing it correctly. It requires some pressure when you are pumping it with the attachments. I used the smallest attachment for my Honda CBR 400 RR, and it worked quite well. No air bubbles. Apply some pressure with your thumb when you are pumping and keep the pressure with your fingers when you are releasing the brake nipple. Do it slowly and gently. Pump, release, pump, release. It takes some time, but it works 100%. Make sure to keep the pressure between 20 and 30 bars on the meter and don't go below 10 for best results.
