I would buy Spot Shot from any local store. You will find in carpet cleaning ales. Used for years, takes out anything and everything.

cornstarch rubbed into the grease spot then use a warm iron over a paper towel. Dab with detergent to get the cornstarch out and wash.

Would it removes grease stain

I know this is old, but wanted to chime in. There's a laundry detergent called Oil Be Gone that's sold by massage business suppliers, particularly one in New Jersey, that will most likely remove it. I've been using it since 2007, and it's the only thing I've found to remove oil build up in clothes and towels, and works well on most stains, including grass, blood and petroleum based stains. I'm sure you can use it on carpet as well if that's your intent, but test a spot to make sure it's okay. I only use the powdered version, but there's a liquid version as well. It's also stellar at removing the urine from our dog's bedding that I launder. Just incredible stuff!
