Game of Thrones Complete Series 1-8 Blu-ray Region Free

This box set is incredible. 8 steelbooks, all episodes, a plethora of special features including the reunion of key cast members. It’s all here in stunning 4k glory!I missed the bus on the original release of this at Best-buy due to Covid. I was somewhat leary to try this French release, but boy, I’m glad I did! I read reviews stating that some of the discs don’t work properly, and being that I’m relying on my LG region free unit to play this, I was very concerned! Right off the bat, the first disc in season one didn’t load properly the first 3 times I tried it. I checked the other disks and they were fine. I went back to the 1st disc, wiped it with my t-shirt, and VOILA! It plays fine!The 4K transfer is wonderfully rich in sharp detail, amazing colors, and rich blacks and not murky or faded looking. Sound is just as stunning, with horse winnies, boots in snow crunches, flames flittering, etc.The box presentation is a work of art. The entire case is adorned with embossed images. There’s a foam interior that holds each steelbook firmly in place, and the steelbooks themselves are stunning to look at! If you’re a GOT fan like me, this is definitely worth the extra money!If you’re late to the party like me on this 4k release,Do yourself a favor, bite the bullet, and get this set! Just make sure your player can play it!Highly recommended!!!

This was an epic show but be warned that graphic violence, nudity, and highly suggestive sex/rape scenes just shy of an x rating and references/scenes suggesting alternative sex preferences including gay (both lesbian and homosexual), torture, sexual mutilation abound. This is NOT for little kids even though the dragon battle sequences are awesome and I was even embarrassed to watch it while my 87 year old mother was in the house. Thanks to pandemic, I was able to binge watch this show which is truly the only way you can keep track of all the various story arcs, plots, subplots, and characters. This blu-ray version was great if you don't want to splurge on the collector's edition.

Great price for my favorite series. Now I'll have it forever.

Every season of Game of Thrones in exceptional Blu-Ray quality, at a wonderful price, and timely delivery from date of order.

There are some parts from season 4-5 like the wedding of Maryorie and king Joffre the part of Tyrion killing his father and Shay. I’m not happy for that price Not worth it.

I watched all 8 seasons on HBO. When the complete set came out I waited for the price to go down. It did now i have to enjoy all over again.

Als die Serie im TV lief hatte ich diese nicht gesehen. Hörte aber ständig im Radio einen gewissen Hype über diese Serie. Kurz nach Weihnachten entschloss ich mich diese Serie über das Sky-Box Sets mir mal anzusehen. Schon mit der ersten Folge aus der ersten Staffel hielt bei mir eine gewisse Sucht nach dieser Serie Einzug.Zu der Handlung selbst muss ich glaube nichts sagen. Eigentlich sammle ich nur Spielfilme und bisher haben es in meine Sammlung nur 2 Serien-Komplettboxen geschafft. Game of Thrones ist nun die 3.Serie, die es in meine Sammlung geschafft hat. Für mich ist diese Serie bisher die beste, die ich je gesehen habe.Geliefert wurde wie abgebildet und eingeschweißt. Alle 33 Blu Rays sind ohne Kratzer. Ich habe auch sofort stichprobenartig die Disks geprüft, ob wirklich alles in deutscher Sprache ist. Dem ist so. Da mein Blu- ray- Player ohnehin auf deutsch eingestellt ist, musste ich nichts weiter einstellen, die deutsche Sprache wurde sofort wiedergegeben. Bild und Ton sind hervorragend.Den Preis halte ich für angemessen, da man 73 Folgen auf 30 Blu Rays hat und zusätzlich noch 3 Disks mit Bonusmaterial. Für Fans dieser Serien eine klare Kaufempfehlung von mir.

The BRs come very quick and all play well without any issues. There are nice menus and extra features, back stories and so on. Now to the other part, the show itself. The Misses wanted the BRs, so we got the BRs. Yes, I had to sit through hours and hours of this, such is love. What first seems like a decent show with a proper plot, quickly turs into the writing of an eight year old, with added skin and soft porn. Not that I mind sex in a show that's ok, if part of the story line. As the story line progresses, protagonists will be dying, which again, is ok. But only to come back because of what? An internet forum decided not to let go of the attractive character, so the writers followed suit? Others again are left for dead only to magically survive open fractures and gashing headwounds with fractured skulls, mind you in a world with no antibiotics, because little Jimmy decided he wanted them back in the story. Getting stabbed in the gut several times is not an issue, if the viewers and therefore the writers decide they love you. If you are a hopeless character, the bad guy who's changed to the better you will at least make it to the last episode. And when you think it could be over, it will still be not, there are some lose threads which needs to be rushed to be tied together, maybe. Terrific, if you have the mind of an eight year old and wanna see some boobs on the side.
