Will this open tins of salmon - don’t know why salmon tins are so awkward to open!

I can't say that we have had any trouble, but I put the edge of the can square on the gripy gear cog, and as I lower the handle make sure the cutter blade is inside the rim. It opens corned beef cans and I consider those the hardest to open.

Do u have to pierce the can open with the lever or will the lever pierce the can by itself when start it

The lever pierces the can when u start it

Well they can still open if I let go of the lever

It will still open the tin if you take your hand off the lever. When the tin is fully opened hold the tin and lift the lever. Be careful not to cut yourself when taking the tin lid from the magnet.

Will this open cans with a ring pull?
