great grinding stone
I was thrilled to find this stone. I had used one for years that wore done over time. It is an ideal surface for sharpening knives, chisels and wood turning tools.

Does the job well
Came in the mail real fast. I don't appreciate being told how many words I have to use. I will stop rating my purchases if they don't change this.

Too much work
The product is privacy fine but I don't have the patience for it so I bought a grinder.

Arrived in great condition, as expected.
This particular carborundum grinding stone, used by stained glass folk, seems to be pretty popular and trusted when you are not going to use a machine for edge management. I notice this is the same product offered at trusted glass art supplier sites, and it's the same product offered on line here with amazon. This is a competitive value for the product. It works well and handles well. This is why it's so popular. The shipping was great, plenty of updates on delivery status and arrived on time, well packaged and in one piece.5 stars.
