This is a very straight forward product. It works as intended. The rope is long enough that it would work for a very tall person which I am not. The handles are hard, but that is not a complaint. If they were soft or padded, this product would probably not be a durable. Great product that I highly recommend for anyone trying to bulk up their forearms or get the veiny look going.

Simply, it works. Well made and my existing plates fit right on.

Sturdy, solid value for what it is. Comfortable handles, not too big that it takes up more space than is welcome. Workouts are good, they are what you make of them, wind up then slowly wind down for best results. A much more economic solution to get the same result that other fitness companies charge double for. It will do the job you want it to do, and I have had it over a year with no issues, even if there were an issue with the rope or carabiner it would not be hard to fix or replace, the bar has held with no issues.

Very well made and relatively cheap. Good hand grips and weight attachment. Rope is more than long & strong enough for me at 6’ 2” tall. With a 5 lb plate, it destroys my forearms and gets them very pumped. Great exercise for grip strength and building big forearms.

works wonderful , just hook it up to a low pulley of a lat pulldown machine and it keeps constant tension .. will blast your forearms really well !!!

Bought for a great price, and the quality is just like what you'd find in the gym

Tested this product with 10lbs and the grips slipped instantly even with a tight squeeze on the handles. I removed the grips by hand and coated the metal pipes with gorilla glue. I let set overnight and the grips didn't move at all. An alternative might be removing the grips and replacing them with tighter bicycle grips. After the glue the product is fine but it should come with some type of adhesive to hold them on to prevent the total slip out it came with. Three stars because it needed modification. I'll update this review if the welds don't hold up over time.

Works as intended but there are two key issues: The rope is not static, that means it bounces and has an initial amount of slack that you must work through before it gets taunt/tight. This is quite unfortunate... The stack that you place weight on, has a lugnut on the bottom for some reason... This is very bad design. It means you can't place it on the floor to put the weight on, without it falling over. Such bad design.

Works very well. Can feel a good burn in my forearms after a couple of rounds with even just a 5lb plate on it. It is very easy to load, unload, and use. The construction is very good and better than expected for the price. All metal construction with a strong feeling rope, and nice textured rubber hand grips. I was pleasantly surprised by how well it is built. My only complaint I can think of is that when using a 2-inch plate on it, the rod is quite thin, so the plate slides and sits at an angle. It would be extra nice if it came with a spacer or something for 2-inch plates to hold the plate flat, but that's being nitpicky. All that said, the plate stays securely on the base and isn't at risk of falling off or anything like that, and it works very well for the intended purpose.
