This is very well organised, informative and almost just what I wanted when I ordered it. Its a bit dense and would have benefited from taking a bit more time to explain the examples, and I hoped for more on trade diplomacy and climate change than it includes (but there are other sources for those). It makes sense of the complexity of multilateral negotiation processes, and has a sound analytic framework. The 4th edition, the authors know what their readership is (more advanced students) and play very effectively to that. Excellent for US readers; a bit thin on EU related examples for non US readers. But a valuable and usable text and an insightful brief account for practitioners. Chris Farrands
