Post Surgery Tearaway Pants - Men's - Women's - Unisex Sizing

I absolutely love these Post-Surgery Tearaway Pants! After my knee surgery, they were a lifesaver, especially when going to physical therapy. The tearaway design made it so easy to take them off and put them back on without struggling, and they provided full coverage over my knee brace, which was a huge plus. I highly recommend these pants to anyone recovering from surgery or needing easy-access clothing for medical reasons. They’re comfortable, practical, and made the recovery process much smoother!

These pants were a life saver when I broke my ankle. I wore them while I was non-weight bearing and they were the only pants I was able to put on almost entirely by myself. They went over the cast with zero problems. After showers I was able to snap up all but the bottom few which I had a family member do for me. There was only one problem which led to me purchasing a different pair once I started physical therapy because it was far too frustrating to deal with out in public. Sometimes the top few snaps would come undone. The pants fit me well and never seemed too tight. Any looser and they probably would have fallen down a lot. But even the tiniest bend at the waist from sitting down or something would cause the top right snaps to pop open. Other than that these pants were fantastic and I definitely recommend!

Would buy again. Very useful for going to the doctor's office for post-op exam of the surgical site (knee).

I am a 5'6" woman who weighs 150 pounds. I am recovering from major leg and knee surgery after an accident. Everything I read indicated I should get extra large, but they were WAY too big!! This is unisex. Large was what I normally would have bought, but everyone said in order for it to fit over your brace, you need to go a size up. The extra large was massive. It has a drawstring so they don't fall down, but I had to tie it up about 3 inches above my waist. I wore them twice, and then decided to re-order, this time getting a large. It works much better. If I didn't have the brace, I could probably wear a medium, but the large is doing the job. The pants themselves are very comfortable, and I was getting tired of wearing skirts.

I bought these pants because I had foot surgery and had to wear a surgical boot for a few weeks. These pants were great. You can unbutton all the way so it's great if you have limited range of motion. Made my recovery from surgery so much easier because I didn't have to struggle to try to put on regular pants.

I bought two sizes of these because I didn't know for sure how they'd fit. Due to weather issues they arrived the night before my surgery. I gambled and opened the Large. It fit me perfectly well. I'm 5'7 and wear a 34x 30 men's pant. Without shoes and around the house I rolled a cuff, but only because I don't like to sweep my hard floors with my pant legs. Occasionally the waist buttons would unsnap (usually just one side), but not during normal wearing, just in removal and hurried lifting up. I really wish they had a Velcro strap or rope like sweat pants. I saw a reviewer that sewed one on. If they had something like that, just to have some security if the top buttons unsnap, they'd be a 5 star for sure. Ultimately I'm happy and would buy/use them again for another surgery. I'm not sure of long term durability, as I'm a week out from my surgery and able to wear my stretchy Levi's again, but they were absolutely perfect for my time of need. I now have an extra pair of decent sweatpants.

We bought these pants to help facilitate diaper changes for my elderly father, who has dementia and had a stroke. They are much easier to put on than regular pants and don't depend on the person's cooperation/ability to lift their feet when putting on or removing them. They are a bit pricey, but we are hoping they are relatively durable. Unlike others, we haven't found the snap fasteners to cause any issues (except for the fact that my father sometimes starts fiddling with them). We also like that they are fleece lined inside, so they are warmer than some of the others we have seen. We have now purchased several pairs (and also the short version for warmer weather). I highly recommend them for others with similar caregiving needs.
