Installed due to failure of the older pump. Turned it on, almost blew the nozzle out of my hand . Very powerful, excellent choice.

This is one Pump that is trustworthy and we’ve used it for years with our business. As pumps wear out frequently, this one’s very durable..

Absolutely horrible pump. I added it to a Newmar Dutch Star 3852 bus. It cycles so hard it shook everything. The pressure goes from super strong to nothing back to super strong. The flow is as inconsistent as a uti. Showers were fun, after a total loss of pressure, when it came back it could be ice cold or super hot. Faucets worked the same way. It must drop to like 10 psi before it kicks in and starts pumping. Super loud. Finally got a warm spell, 30 degrees. I swapped it with a shurflow and everything is wonderful. I was they had a 70 psi pump. I wish this was as good as it was hyped up to be. I checked for leaks. I did a vinegar flush and a bleach flush. It didn't change a thing. Bad pump for rvs, or anything for that matter. Think broken super soaker.

Hi water volume. Low audio volume. I use this to water plants from an ATV with tank. Initially the pump was pulsing badly because the nozzle and hose I am using are too restrictive (confirmed this with larger diameter hose not on a reel). Thankfully, there is an adjustment on the automatic pressure shut-off switch. I turned that counter clockwise until it stopped pulsing (1/2" hose on auto reel with nozzle). Very happy now with the purchase.

-- 1 Year Update: I've continued to use the pump as my primary water source in my RV. My setup has remained as follows: * Pump pressure switch used as switch input to a DC motor controller ( ASIN B07JK3MBXC ) - This is the red/black wire pair at the top of the controller circuit board. * DC motor controller set to full speed * Dialed back the Pump's pressure setting so it would kick off reliably Overall, I'm quite happy with the operation now that I got past the initial pain. It has continued to operate well for my needs, so I'm adjusting the rating from1 star to 4 stars. -- Original review Installed this in my RV. We have an RO production system which fills the fresh tank and use that water via the pump exclusively in the coach for ALL of our water needs. This includes 4 faucets, a shower, two toilets, Fridge based water/ice, dishwasher and a clothes washer. * For water loads which are free flowing ( like the toilets ), the pump kicks on at 100% and then shut off after some small amount of cycling as it pressurized the system again. * The low flow loads ( faucets, shower, etc ) the pump constantly cycles as the flow is insufficient for full-on operation of the pump. While this is "ok" from my perspective, the trouble started almost instantly. 0: The fittings don't appear to be 1/2" NPT (standard US plumbing fittings) - NPT fittings are slightly tapered and these fittings do not have that taper. This makes leak free installation quite tough on hand-tight pex fittings. - NPSF are non-tapered fittings and appear to be what is in use on this pump. 1: After 1 day's use and immediately after taking a shower, the included relay on the pump seized in the 'closed' position which left the pump running constantly with it's outlet practically sealed ( no water demand in the RV ). - I replaced the relay with a contactor to get things working normally, but as a short term fix as the contactor chatter was obnoxious (as expected). 2: To fix the contactor chatter, I replaced it with a variable speed dc motor controller, left at it's 100% speed setting. - Since this is a solid state device, it does not incur the chatter of the contactor. - This worked fine for a short period 3: Now, the pump kicks on randomly and stays on for upwards of 4 to 8 minutes with no RV water demand - In researching this behavior, it appears the most probably cause would have been debris in the diaphragm. - Today, I took the entire pump head apart, cleaned it out with clear, RO water and reassembled the pump - After bleeding all the air from the system, the pump continues to run with no RV water demand - I've now lowered the pressure cut-off of the pump and it does shut off more reliably, but still does kick on at random times with no RV water load I realize the simplest explanation is a leak in the RV some place. I've been through every bit of the RV plumbing and am 100% confident there's no leak. Further, after re-installing my prior pump, the prior pump works 100% as expected with no random turn-ons or long duration 'on' sessions after shutting off the RV water load. At this point, I've had the pump for 2 months, so I'm not really eligible to return it, and I've modified the electrical side to work around the initial relay issue, so I'm not confident in warranty coverage ( esp since the manufacturer is in China ). If anything changes in the future, I'll update the review, but at this point, I cannot recommend this pump for any variable flow use-cases.

I have a solar powered setup that takes water from a 1,000 gallon tank that then uses this pump and another to pressurize a small 44 gal pressure tank to then supplies the water for two houses on my property. I wasn't sure this was going to work but knew I didn't want to use an A/C booster pump with an inverter. So this system uses a 12v LifePO4 battery with solar and a standard well pressure switch to kick the pumps on an off. I believe most problems people have with this pump is related to the included pressure switch so I bypassed it and use a standard well switch which is much more robust. I am using this pump in parallel with another smaller Seaflo pump (55 Series 5.5gpm 60psi). This larger pump (53 Series 7.0gpm 60 psi) is strong and is continuing to pump good where the smaller pump is starting to leak and the GPM seems to have reduced. To be fair the larger pump is advertised as "continuous" duty and these pumps are normally used in RV setups that aren't as demanding. I plan to replace the smaller pump with this larger pump and then I will then have two 7.0gpm pumps in parallel which will make this system even better. The two current pumps can usually keep up with all household demands, even multiple showers running while doing laundry. They only struggle if we are doing laundry and then also using multiple hoses around the house to water plants. Just to be clear these are not being used with sprinklers but all other household demands. My sprinkler are running off my well pump system. This system has allowed me to run my well pump less often and also gives me a few hundred gallons of water that can be used even during power outages. Like I said, I wasn't sure this was going to work by two years later and this little pump is still going strong.

This pump was really easy to install and has good pumping pressure and no issues with the fuse like some other brands I have tried. My only concern is the pump won’t shut off on its own. Probably just a defect.

Solution if your pump jerks on and off and the bypass adjustment does nothing. For me, there is a rubber gasket in the bypass valve that was installed backwards. Flipping this gasket, so that the small bump faces away from the pump, allowed the pump to work properly for me. The pump performs well so far and outputs a very high flow rate.
