Bought this to replace old sticky remote that wasn’t working very well, pared with the system on the second try. The only problem was no paring instructions but was easy enough to fing online...thanks

Easy Swap
Old control went bad, ordered and received it in 24hrs. This made it easy.Wife installed battery, synced and was back in the house in 4:00. She hates dealing with remotes, done.

Good replacement. A little pricey
It's a shame.... My old remote worked fine but the plastic got all gross and sticky. Couldn't take it anymore so I broke down and ordered this replacement. It paired up on the second try. Just follow the instructions that can be found online and you will be golden. I sure hope this one holds up better, kind of sucks to spend this kind of money on a remote.

Overall its a perfect replacement remote for the original
This pairs with every version of the Iphone I ever had, but for some reason this would NOT pair with my Samsung Galaxy 4. However it paired perfectly when I switched to a Galaxy Note 5. Go figure. Overall its a perfect replacement remote for the original. The remote works in conjunction with the small receiver on my dash. The only issue I have is that for some reason it never stays on NIGHT setting, and reverts to daylight and I can never read the screen. Not sure if its a defect or what, but otherwise its easy to use, scroll through the options for playlists, mp3s, contacts etc. All of the buttons work with minimal pressure and respond accordingly.
