Very good value and sounds great with instrument direct
So far, so good! I just received this and tested it with an accordion and fiddle. My needs are acoustic instruments with pickups for stage performance. The 1/4" adapter works great and the system has surprisingly good sound. It's quiet, no noise.I'm replacing a $500 system that would cost almost $200 to fix! So I thought, why not try one of these, given how the technology has advanced so much in seven years? I was not disappointed. When (I hope) performances get started again in 2021, I'll order a second one of these, for redundancy. I decided against one of the competitors that come with one base station and two belt packs for the simple reason that there is a single point of failure. Owning two of these, and of course setting one to a different frequency, gives you two separate systems hence closer to 100% reliability. The system consists of a sender and receiver, both powered by rechargeable but non-changeable internal Li-ion power cells. They both are recharged with a 5W microUSB charger similar to one used by older Android phones. It would be nice if the world standardized on USB-C, or Lightning, but anyway at least they didn't choose mini-USB which is from 10 years ago.Anyway, the receiver is a mono 1/4" dongle with a short 1.5" antenna that plugs right into your mixer, powered amp, or similar. The system comes with various adapters for phones, cameras, and similar devices (dongle 1/4" to standard 3.5mm mini-stereo or headset mini-stereo). There is a lavalier microphone, a headset microphone, and a microphone on a short stalk, plus a handy phone stand and a couple of other accessories. I would suggest getting a ziplock bag or other kind of container to hold all this stuff. You can keep it in the original box, not a bad case actually since it keeps everything separate. The sender is a small box with the 3.5mm stereo input jack, an antenna, and a display. There are also arrow buttons to adjust the frequency. It is very light and has a clip, so can clip to your shirt or go in a pocket. The build feels a bit cheap -- I would be careful with plugging large adapters into the input jack because if you pressure it the wrong way it might break. Just doesn't feel as rock solid as higher end belt packs. So baby it and hopefully it will be okay for the long term.I think an improvement on the sending device would be some kind of foam rubber casing in case you drop it on concrete. It will happen. So be prepared; either put it on a lanyard so it can't fall too far, or keep it velcro'd to your instrument all the time. Anyway, baby it because this is the heart of the system and in my opinion is the most fragile. The receiver as well - treat it like a baby! This is a "just out of the box" review and it's possible I'll have more thoughts and comments later on, so I will make sure to come back and edit if needed. But for now, I can say, I am very impressed and pleased by this affordable, simple to operate wireless system.

Best Deal Ever.
This was a great surprise and product. Best purchase I've made in a long time. Here's the story: I have a private tour company, giving tours in a convertible MINI Cooper. For years I used an expensive transmitter and receiver for my headset microphone that I use to talk while on tours.I had the expensive set for almost 20 years. It worked well. Then the transmitter died.I went to a stereo shop, where they tried to sell me their cheap transmitter and receiver for $140. I would have bought it, but it was broken and didn't work. The other set was over $800. This did not include microphones or anything else.I couldn't afford that, nor, if I could, did I want to pay that much. I'm not running around on stage in a big auditorium with fancy speakers. I'm in a car with a good sound system. I just need to be heard by my guests.I found this ttstar for $40. IT WORKS GREAT! Solved my problem! And not only that, it come with 3 microphones, plus other useful items. The price can't be beat.I'm going to order another to have a backup. What a deal! This made my day.

Wireless CARDIOID Mic set for PA room speakers... Clean audio if your 2-3 inches from the mics
The media could not be loaded. UPDATED REVIEW 2020/11/9: Really clean audio using the Headset and if you keep it at about 2-3 inches from your mouth. At first I got really bad audio because of two factors: 1) of the mics were bad (replaced by the seller - thank you). 2. These microphones are all CARDIOID mics with only a 2-3 inch working distance. This would be good if I had public address room speakers to lower feedback loops and echoing. However, if you are just recording on the other side of the room and wanted wireless microphones for your Youtube videos and need a really small form factor for the transmitter and receiver, this may be the kit for you especially at under the $50 dollar range. The secret is to point the CARDIOID mics at your mouth and have it about 2-3 inches close to your mouth. The most useful is the headset mic and the handheld mic which you can position your mouth very close to the mic. The clip-on mic is pretty much worthless with low pickup volume and range. I had a OMNI mic from another mic kit used it on this kit and got great audio from the transmitter and receiver. Overall the UHF transmitter and receiver works great and has a battery life of about 4.5 hours. If they included one Omni mic they would probably get better reviews. Overall I have used this for my Youtube videos for a few weeks now and its been great being able to walk around record wirelessly.ORIGINAL Review 2020/10: 2 Stars due to bad bent mic. I just received this to find out the headset mic's jack was bent. The other 2 mics are fine. I am contacting the seller to see if they can send a replacment. Testing out the recording there is a hiss from the kit that is apparent in all frequencies. I will need to test this more to find out if this is worth it or durable.

Easy to use~ worth the money
I've been using this Microphone system for some time now and I am extremely happy with it's performance so far especially for a system at this price. I host a pod cast and You Tube channel and found the sound is clear, not muffled once in a while I can hear some unwanted sounds when I play back the recordings but when I use the mic up close, it's crystal clear. I did a video outside and was able to hear my voice way past the suggested transmission distance. Well built system and it comes with a ton of accessories. I love it is compatible with a lot of different devices. Overall I would recommend this mic system, it sounds just as good as some of the more expensive brands.
