More Suitable For The Average Newborn
First time mom here! If your newborn is struggling with the Dr. Brown's Level 1 flow nipple, switch to these! I figured my 3 week old was just learning how to take a bottle and was a messy feeder because the formula would be dripping out the sides of her mouth. To the point where I had to place a thick rag under her chin because it would soak her clothes. After doing research, I learned the flow is too fast for her. So by getting these I've cut down on formula waste and feeding my baby is no longer as messy and she's not getting frustrated. I'll definitely be ordering more of these when I get more bottles. I'm so happy Dr. Brown's offers something between premie and level 1.

These work great!
I love these nipples for my newborn! I had no idea Dr. Browns made a transitional nipple. The level 1 slow flo is too fast. Thankfully this one is just right and has reduced spit up and helped with reflux.

✅ Pros: middle ground between a preemie nipple and the level 1❌ Cons: not well known that these are available🧠 Overall thoughts: I love that this nipple exists! My 36 week twins started with the preemie nipple which has a flow rate of 7.2mL/min. The T nipple has a flow rate of 9.88mL/min. And the level 1 has a flow rate of 13.31mL/min. This is per the Dr brown’s medical website. The T is the perfect middle ground!

Perfect flow and size from the ones given in the hospital. It has a shorten nipple for smaller baby mouths.

Helpful to slow down feedings
These have been perfect for my 3 week old. The 1's were a little too much so we gave these a try and they really helped to control her feedings. They are easy to fit into the top of the bottles and pop out to clean. I would highly recommend if you need something a little less than 1's.
