I have used one of these strainer before and it works wonderful when I go to can over 500 lbs of home grown heirloom tomatoes each summer! the end result is a cellar full of tomato sauce for chili, pasta sauce, chicken cacciatore etc! does a great job of keeping seeds and skin out of the pylp

It does the work for you!
Canning tomatoes was effortless this year! Easy to clean, assemble and use. A real timesaver and less labor intensive than the hand crank version we’ve used for years!!

Cheap Product
Out of the box this unit had a cracked housing (see picture). This made using the unit very unstable to use. Since tomato season was not until after I received the device, I could not return it. I have used other machines in the past and the directions for this device are terrible. There is no web site to go to on the directions and I could not find anything on YouTube for this device. Do not waste your money on this unit.

No book explaining product, warranty, etc
Didn't come with a book about the product, how to operate, different applications that you can use it for, warranty, what kind of oil it uses, etc. Normally would come with a book with different recipes and what you can run through the juicer.

Broken plastic parts
Bought this 3 years ago and it worked great until today. We've been using this machine mainly once a year to process tomatoes from our garden. The motor has these plastic gears inside and they broke, which renders the item useless. I have reached out to the seller and am waiting to hear about replacement parts as I can fix it myself. Other customers state the seller did not send them any replacement parts or that they were not helped with this issue. I will update this post when I hear from them. The machine otherwise was very reliable so far and its industrial look was what made us buy it in the first place. We mistook that for reliability! I am hoping the seller can make up for what the product is missing in terms of how quick they respond and how helpful they are in helping me fix this machine. We need it fixed right away-tomatoes are awaitin'!
