Albert's Fruit Chews - Banana Flavor (240 Candies)

One of the best banana candies I have come across.

These were so good. If you are looking for a really soft taffy, these aren't it. They aren't super hard and you are able to chew them. The banana flavor is really great.

I usually get the Now and Later banana chews. I thought I would give this one a chance, it seemed to have good reviews in the past. Despite the bag being labelled as Good until 7/30/25, they were rock hard. Not chewy at all. After several minutes in my mouth, I was able to slightly chew on it. It had absolutely no flavor. This product is not returnable and they will not refund your money. The bag went into the trash, lesson learned. Do not buy snack products through Amazon. In past years, I occasionally was sent old snacks but I was given a refund. That is no longer the case. DO NOT BUY this product.

I flippin love these. If it wasn't that I'm pounding sugar I would probably eat a pound a day. I'm weird. I like old(as in aged) chewy candy. 55+ years of mastering eating candy in two continents. Northern Europe still has the best candy. Then it's not for everyone since these are the same people who put "salt" actually ammonium chloride in black licorice. These are perfect. Way stale to the point of cracking when first bit into slowly developing into a chewy super artificial banana flavor. Light on the acidity which is key with this flavor. If you like natural, soft or fresh candy then don't buy these and give them bad reviews. If your like me you'll love them. I did spend many years slinging hash in Michelin star restaurants. Just flippin weird. I love these Update from May 22, 2019. I ordered three more bags of these. For those who don't enjoy the stale hard type of candy rejoice. These appear fresh and now are chewy and stick to my teeth. I don't like this style and was so happy with the last three purchases which had stale old hard candy. I know, I'm weird.

Pretty stale still. I'll eat them, but won't be buying again. They are basically now or laters but smaller

I have tried these in different flavors and was looking forward to the banana flavor. These definitely didn't disappoint me as they have a great banana taste. Great value and I will definitely buy again.

Haven't had these since Halloween as a child... the flavor isn't perfect but its still good. I'd buy them again.... if that says anything.
