NibSaver Surface Cover for Wacom Intuos Pro Pen and Touch Large (PTH851) Pen Tablet

This product offers good surface protection but has a more reflective and slippery surface. I ordered this because I wanted to protect the surface of my large Intuos Pro. I was starting to notice the surface becoming shiny and worn-down in a particular area. This product arrived in a stiff cardboard envelope, inside was a plastic bag that contained the product. I peeled off the plastic backing, then the four adhesive strips and carefully applied it to the surface of my tablet.PROS:- Accurate fit, sized appropriately to tablet surface (maybe 1 mm larger than necessary)- Easy to apply- Effective adhesive- Feels about the same as without (ever so slightly more slippery)- Protects the surface, hopefully extending the tablet's lifeCONS:- More glossy and reflective than tablet's surface. This cover reflects the room light and shines into my eyes.- I don't like the visible adhesive lines around the perimeter (bubbles in adhesive, too)- Makes the surface slightly more slippery- The raised edge of the protector is "sharp" and scratches my hand occasionally

Just bought this for my Wacom. It came sooner than expected, and went on easily enough. Easy instructions included. Happy to have some protection for my tablet. Pen and touch actions still work smoothly with this cover on the tablet.

I didn't even notice that this was a "screen protector" I thought it was the real deal.

it was good for what its supposed to be for but i guess i just preferred going in raw on the nibs lollove this gen of the intuos pro though, compared to the new dirty dirty gen

I never used my newer Intuos 5 Large when I got it because I was afraid of rubbing away or scratching the surface. Whenever I wanted to use a drawing tablet in the past, I would just use my old Intuos 4 Medium because I have extra surface sheets for those in case the one on it gets scratched or worn out. I didn't get a protective cover in the past because I was so used to the scratchy feeling of the unprotected surface and didn't want to lose that.I finally got one of these out of the blue because I wanted to finally give my large Intuos a try without worrying about it getting worn or damaged, and it took me less than a day to get used to the feeling. Now I'm glad that I can safely use my large tablet, and the extra size really does make drawing more enjoyable.The only reason I give this 4 stars instead of 5 is because I think I really do prefer the "textured" feel of the unprotected surface. If that doesn't matter to you, or if you didn't like how fast your nibs would need to be replaced then I would recommend trying out one of these covers.note: I understand this is the cover for the first generation Intuos Pro, but I just bought it because they're the same size anyways (I don't know why I didn't just get the cover for the Intuos 5 lol).

I reluctantly purchased this for my Wacom which was just beginning to show signs of wear. My large Intuos Pro has to last me years, so I better protect it. I received it within the specified time (and kudos to the postal system for not bending such a large flat parcel:-), followed the instructions and got a perfect fit. I was concerned about the touch response and the general behavior of the pen on the smoother surface, but I was worried for nothing. The cover is wonderful. For me it's even enhanced the pen experience since I wasn't really a fan of the slightly gritty original surface. It has zero impact on touch, which I use a lot. I no longer hesitate on brush strokes and can fully enjoy my Wacom. If I ever buy another Wacom, I'll be ordering the POSRUS surface cover at the same time.

Seems like it will protect the Wacom tablet pretty well. The only downside is that there is no texture which makes the stylus feel very loosey-goosey when your doing any type of artwork. Maybe they'll make one with some texture on it to make it feel more like paper than slick plastic.

Cheap (price), easy to apply, works well, covers entire tablet drawing area, not just the active area. Two thumbs up!
