I LOVE this thing! I was eyeballing this while I was pregnant, but went with a pack and play bassinet to put in our room because it was a less expensive option.... 1.5 months in I was (predictably) exhausted and my back was on fire from hunching over the pack and play bassinet while soothing our gassy baby during the night. I tried pulling it up against our bed so I could easily reach in to soothe him but it was awkward and uncomfortable and when I needed to get out of bed it was a chore between the bedframe, the bedside table and the pack n play. An obstacle course in the middle of the night whilst sleep deprived and bleary eyed is not enjoyable. Enter this dream of an invention.. the Halo Bassinest .... I LOVE THIS THING and so does our baby!!!! It is like he is sleeping right next to me, but it’s safe! I can see his face through the mesh and hear him breathe. I think he can hear us sleeping, too, and that it comforts him to do so. It’s super easy to soothe him with the way the side is designed and when I need to get up this thing frickin swivels like a DREAM! It’s worth every penny!!! It also takes up less room that the pack and play bassinet. It feels sturdy and I appreciate how the legs on the base are flat and rounded- my toes thank whoever designed this! No 2am stubbed toes. All in all- 10+ stars. We are very happy! -from the wife :)

Got this bassinet for my second child. This makes things so convenient. All the swivel functions give me the ability to creat the perfect position for her to sleep near me at night but be in her own space. The drop down feature was a life saver as a C-section momma. Don’t even have to get out of bed to get her out! It is very heavy, so not easy to move from room to room, but that is outweighed by everything else.

I didn’t want anything too crazy knowing that it would only be used around 6 months. So we settled on something more simple and it’s perfect for us. The swivel feature works well and is super convenient when trying to move baby closer and getting in and out of bed. It’s very sturdy & is in the heavier side. Easy to assemble. The ability to push the side down in the middle of the night to access the baby is also a plus.

Well worth it. I couldn’t see my little guy in the pack n’ play we were going to use. This puts him right next to me. He ends up wiggling himself to the edge, the mesh, to be close to me. I highly encourage you to buy this. It’s worth it.

I haven’t had my baby yet but this was recommended by several people who have newborns. I thought it might be a little lopsided due to the positioning of the bar but I pushed on the opposite side and it seems sturdy to me. The essentials series says it comes with a fitted sheet and ours did not include this, so that’s disappointing. Next time I wouldn’t buy this directly from Amazon. Instead go to the supplier directly.

Only downside is there are no wheels. Wish it had wheels that locked and unlocked so I could move this from room to room. Love this so much. Love being able to have my baby close yet move it when I need to get in and out of bed.

Really great product. 4 stars for the set up; it's tough to assemble the basket, but once it's up it's great. Sadly at about 4 months the baby has outgrown it. If this company made cribs I would consider one if it was like the Halo

As first time parents this bassinet is a must have item! It’s best for night time feeds as you can simply pull the bassinet close to you and lift the baby. It’s best for when baby and mommy sleep together, feeding the baby is so much simpler. This is a must have item for new parents and also must add it to your registry!! I absolutely love this bassinet.
