Careful with this product. It pops open and if you have it pointing in the wrong direction, you can easily break your nose if you get popped. It's also impossible to close. It tangles super easily and despite it's detangling instructions, it's not easy. You pretty much have to retwist the entire wand. Not worth the money.

This is a retractable stick. The hollow one. It won't be heavy. It cannot be used as a self-defense weapon, just the kind of props used for performance or play. The operation is very simple. It has a button, just need to flip that button and it will pop out and become a stick. Slower when closing. Otherwise, it may be damaged. Although there is nothing strange. But I still give him 5 stars

I received my order today and was very excited from watching the ad on Youtube video. I bought the staff for my 16 year old and was going to buy another as a Father's Day gift. Unfortunately this is a piece of garbage and not worth the $16.00 I paid. The staff is not sturdy and keeps unraveling. It was cheaply made and took way too much effort to put it back. What a disappointment. I want a refund.

I wish I would have taken a picture or video. My son got this for Christmas and it literally only lasted him about two days. He is 11 years old and even though he was being careful, he did one little mistake and it bent and it would no longer go in and be able to try to learn his magic trick.

Thank you!! This toy is incredibly cool and fun!! I have two boys, they are 10 and 14, and this brought so much excitement and entertainment!! However, when my 14 year old released it to grab it, it started to uncoil. Unfortunately, it sliced his index finger, pretty bad. This was not his first time playing with it and is very aware of the accidents that can happen. It’s been three day since the incident and still has a long healing process. He may have needed stitches but the way it’s cut convinced me that they would probably just glue it. My son informed that he will continue to play with it, but thinks perhaps a glove should come with it, I know it’s recommended, but more people would use it if it came with it and there would be less accidents. No part of this is to steer away a purchase, just simply making others aware that the material it’s made of, can be dangerous. Again, it’s an incredibly cool gadget! Just please wear a glove and be safe!!

After playing with this thing for an hour I had cuts all over my hands and a good bruise on my chest from pointing the thing at myself by accident. Coiling it back up is hard and the damn thing could take an eye out if your not careful. I wouldn't buy this for children unless your kid is trained in combat, or your the cool uncle.

Absolute rubbish, 1 star is the lowest I could give, I’d go lower if I could. Gave in to a request from my 14yo and despite trying to carefully open it, it almost gutted his 9year old brother standing behind it as it sprung open in a split second, unable to control the unnecessarily sharp metal that is only good for throwing in your trash can right after it’s sliced clothing or hands and you immediately regret the wasteful spend and harm you’re doing on the environment by tossing in the trash like there’s not enough of that done already. Sigh. I don’t care how careful you are with this, there’s no way you get your money’s worth and no way it lasts more than a try or two, and if you come out unscathed, still, less than 2 stars.
