I'm really impressed with the quality of this whey, and make a smoothie with it just about every morning. Especially if I have it within an hour of getting up, I can feel my body and mind shift into feeling stabilized and calm. Like any "noise" inside goes quiet. That's from the high quality and sufficient protein (I use 3 scoops for 30 grams protein, not the 2 scoops for the suggested 20 grams protein) and other stuff I put in my smoothie (like a bit of fruit, 1 T. psyllium, 2 T. uncooked steel cuts oats, 1/4 of an avocado and 1 1/2 c. almond milk) stabilizing my blood sugar, and keeping it steady for 4 hours or so. I read about people putting their whey into oatmeal or their coffee... this doesn't work for me, as I don't think it tastes good, but to each their own.

As someone who trains daily and tracks every ingredient I consume, I can say this is the cleanest whey protein I’ve used. I have been using this whey protein powder for a few months now, and I like it very much. It is a bit challenging to dissolve unless I use a mini frother or blender. The taste is pleasant and works nicely with my morning coffee. I took off one star because of the packaging, because when you receive the bag, the whey powder completely clogs the zipper seal and requires that you use a knife or other sharp tool to clean the powder out of the zipper so that the product package can be sealed. The manufacturer should consider alternative packaging or at the very least an inner bag to contain the powder so that the ziplock closure does not get clogged with the product. Otherwise, very happy with this protein powder which is helping me with my health.

Not sure what happened with the previous run of products but I just bought the plain protein again with the sunflower lecithin and it's mixing beautifully into water with just a spoon to stir it now. Just lovely. Best price out there on clean whey protein.

This is by far the best whey protein you will find in the market today (and likely for many years). As explained on their website, unlike the mass-market proteins you normally buy, “NorCal Organic Whey is never acid or bleach processed. Acid and bleach processing strips away many of the most important nutritional factors in whey protein, and many companies have to add these back with amino acids that are created in a lab. Since NorCal is treated as gently as possible, we have no need to add back the naturally occurring factors.” This only has the ingredients you absolutely need: whey protein, cacao / vanilla of the best quality, a tiny bit of stevia, and less than 1% of sunflower lecithin (NOT soy lecithin!) which allows for easier mixing. And it still tastes great! If you care about having even less ingredients, buy the Classic variety which is ONLY whey protein. The vanilla flavor goes well with anything and the chocolate one goes reaaaaally well with banana. I just mash a banana in a bowl and blend the chocolate whey in it. Try it out! This is an unbelieveable product and we truly appreciate their business!

This particular whey protein provided by Source Organic is outstanding! Prior to purchasing it I'll admit I was a little intimidated by the price, and hesitated to buy it. After reading all the good reviews, I finally decided to order some and give it a try. I went with the bulk size (2lb bag) because it's much better value than its smaller counterpart (the 1lb bag I believe). After using this protein for several weeks, I am pleased to say it has both met and exceeded my expectations. The overall quality of the protein is superb, and mixes instantly with any liquid of choice, giving it a smooth, silk-like texture (I personally use it with milk, but I have also tried it with water which works just as well). It's easy to tell after opening the bag and trying the product why it costs what it costs. It beats any competition by a mile in terms of quality, taste, and health focus. I'm somewhat of a health nut, so I was very pleased to see that this product is organic, and that it is derived from grass-fed cows that are solely raised in the states. In essence, if you can afford it, I would strongly recommend buying it. It tastes great, it's trustworthy, and is overall an amazing product for those concerned with health, and reliability. I will be a returning customer!

This stuff is outstanding. Like many, I was looking for a clean whey protein powder. I exercise frequently and require the extra protein on a daily basis. I decided to gamble on this one and I bought the 2lb package. I have tried so many powders but so many fall short in the ingredients. Not this one! And you can taste it and feel it when you consume this whey. I made a shake with almond milk and ice. It doesn't mix as well as other name brand powders but it works fine. It does taste like a creamy milk. Also blended it with oat bran and it was delicious. But I also add berries and nuts and a few drops of stevia and almond milk. I think it's worth it even with the hefty price tag. However, a 5lb bag or buying bulk would be a nice option to save some money.

I ordered the smaller package to try this out. I have fussy taste buds! This product has no powdery aftertaste and mixes well with my almond milk, nuts and berries among other things. So I ordered the larger 2 lb package which serves as a great breakfast or lunch. To get an organic tasty whey protein for this price in Canada is amazing! I highly recommend it.

I've tried organic WHEY COOL and this stuff is even better. The quality A2 cows make a big difference even though both products are pure organic and processed the same. This product tastes better, mixes better and has way less gas than WHEY COOL. Couldn't be happier as a huge body builder. I've done tons of research, this is hands down the best whey. Please improve zip on bag however that is the only "con" :)
