I think you should wait longer than a week. From my experience this product works very quickly and is quite strong. Perhaps you can wait another week to be sure you don’t damage your hair. Better safe than sorry.

How long does it last?

It permanently bleaches color out of your hair. Depending on how dark your hair starts from the results are very orange or yellow as it strips out your hair color and that’s normal. Consider a toner product step after this to actually get the cool platinum look on the box.

I just bleached my bangs yesterday and will it be white??

It depends on the color of your bangs before you bleached it. You can look at the color chart on the side of the box that is as close as you can get.

I love the facets of color! True to packaging & easy to follow instructions. There's even violet shampoo to use between rinsing out color, then the conditioner. No left over chemically smell after washing out, unlike many other brands I've used.Defitely a win!

THIS IS THE BEST HAIR LIGHTNING kit I have ever used, and I have gone through a million, after years of coloring my hair!I just colored my hair this morning, and the results are STUNNING!!!!!1. This made my hair actually softer: how is that even possible? lol but IT IS with this product!!!!!2. My natural hair is something like dirty brown, a little ash, a little red, and this kit lightened it about 5-7 shades within 20 minutes! I was so scared to not damage my hair, so I kept it on the minimum, but it gave me PERFECT color!!!! It also made me have sun-kissed highlights, which makes it look sooooo amazingly natural! I know that I can come back anytime later and use a new kit to lighten the hairline around my face or just take strands and lighten the ends. So, it is like paining on lightness, without the fear of frying anything. This is just for fun for me, so I can re-design what I want later! :D3. Love this hair dye!! Accidentally left it on for longer than the package said, but it was fine! It didn't "fry" my hair off. Got my hair to the desired platinum shade. I will say my natural hair is not super dark tho. I will say it does bleach the shirt that your'e wearing, so def wear an old shirt maybe with an old towel. But overall i LOVEEE this hairdye! Definitley recommend!!

Lifts Nicely

If your hair length is past your shoulders I definitely recommend using 2 boxes instead of just 1 that way you are sure to not miss spots and end up with patchy results.It lifted my hair to a considerably light level of blonde with minimal brassy-ness. Only thing I didn't like is that it left my hair feeling like straw and very easily matted during/after washing so I have to use alot of conditioner and detangler just to comb through it now. I feel like that happens anytime you bleach your hair, regardless of which bleach you use though so it's probably not a product specific issue.

I have been dying my hair for several years and have never had any issues with discoloration until using this product. It definitely lightened my hair, but also left a bluish/green streak on top of my head. Very strange.. perhaps just a fluke.
