Backyard Dudes Non-Stick Porcelain Coated Grill Topper Pan, 16-Inch

I have only used it once, so far, but it performed very well. I got it to BBQ home made black bean burgers to keep them from falling through the grate. After the burgers came off, we put veggie skewers on it. I sprayed it lightly with oil, used it, and it cleaned right up. I appreciate that it isn't covered with teflon or other similar. It didn't buckle or warp. It took up a fair amount of grill space, but I wanted it big; make sure you have the space before you buy it. I plan to use it to BBQ fish and other delicate things. I would recommend this grill topper to other buyers. It did exactly what it was supposed to. What more could you ask?

I bought the 16". On the thin side so warps when you expose it to heat and never fully goes back to flat. Enamel coating seems a bit thin/fragile so not sure how durable this will be. Cleans pretty good but it is not slick like teflon and you can't scrub it clean like stainless steel so long term this may be harder to clean up than a non enameled one. This is just an OK. pan. Should have been cheaper for the quality.

Good quality pan and it can be used on any number of charcoal, gas or electric grills in your backyard. Also, if you have a gas stove and range in the house, you can use it in the house if you use a grill mat with it as I have. It works fine except in the house one must be careful to prevent the food juices such as oil and meat fats from slipping down on one side of the pan that slopes down. Other than that it was great to use in the house, to cook fish and hamburgers, with the exhaust fan running to remove the cooking smoke. We have enjoyed using this pan a lot.To use it in the house, you must use a grill mat which I purchased from Amazon, at a good price also.

I measured the inside of my grill before I bought it and knew that your measurements of 16" X 12" would fit. However, your measurements did not include the handles and I can't place it lengthwise across my grill, having the handles to the left and right of me. Besides that I guess I should have sprayed it with PAM before I grilled because all of my kabobs stuck on it. I wish I didn't buy it.

I wanted to replace an older wire fish rack for my grill and found this. It is terrific! With a light spray of PAM, things don't stick. Large filets are easy to lift and turn, and the rack is easy to wash.I'm very pleased . . . happy camper.

Just grilled 16 hot dogs at once & this made it a lot easier to prevent burning, more sanitary, & nice even cooking. Although I forgot to spray the top with oil, when I was done & after only patting down both sides with a soapy sponge & letting sit for about 10 minutes, both sides wiped clean easily & it still looks as new. I will never grill unprotected again. Thanks for a great, heavy-duty product.

I have used this porcelain grill topper twice and it is already pitted. I am following the cleaning, heating and use directions exactly. As it is, I doubt it will last the remainder of the summer. Given that it was 2 times the cost of the cheaper ones, I will most likely stick with those in the future.
