If your Samsung Galaxy S5 Cell phone is running low on memory, this 16GB micro SD card will give you a good boost to your storage space. I read through a number of reviews before I decided to purchase it and noted that some folks couldn't get it to work. However, I had no problem. As soon as I installed the Transcend micro SD card and replaced the Samsung Battery, the SD card showed up in the "applications" with the correct amount of memory. Your Galaxy S5 manual will show you how and where to insert the micro SD card but the long and short of it is that you need to remove the S5's battery first. Once you've done that, you'll see the slot for the micro SD card in the upper right hand corner of the area previously occupied by the battery. Carefully slide the micro SD card into the slot making sure the contacts are properly line up. Then replace the battery, put the back cover onto the cell phone and you should be good to go.

SD card seems to be working fine.

Even though the SD card only has 14.83 GB, it arrived on time. And functioned perfectly with my phone.

Overall, very happy with the micro SD card and the adapter. Adapter even works on another brand of card I have so I can easily upload photos to the computer from both of them.

This sd card fit perfectly into my phone and worked correctly out of the package.

I'm 66 years old and I figured it out. Easy, simple to do and it added the storage I needed on my S5.

Well. I've tried reformatting it and reformatting it and I don't know why it isn't working. Besides that, when I look to see how much memory is available, I see there is 14Gb instead of 16Gb even though I haven't saved anything on the SD card. Maybe I'm doing something wrong but I've never had this problem with my other SD cards.Regardless, now that I've ripped open the tiny little cardboard sleeve that they seal these in, I don't think I'll be able to return it because it isn't in the original packaging.
