The Star Wars Little Golden Book Library (Star Wars): The Phantom Menace; Attack of the Clones; Revenge of the Sith; A New Hope; The Empire Strikes Back; Return of the Jedi

Our two year old son loves Star Wars, and these books are a great way for him to consume SW without screens. Pretty well written. Pictures can be kind of strange, but it's fine.

As an avid Star Wars fan myself, I was looking forward to getting my 2 year old son acclimated to the universe far far away. This book set is a great intro for bedtime/storytime for young ones. The Little Golden Book series was a staple in my childhood as well, so I had no problem giving this series a shot due to the brand name and topic alone. However, I was not expecting the story to be as well done for toddlers or young children as it is. It follows the series (episodes I-VI) in a clear way that adults will remember, but also limits the violence and more adult tones as wont for a children's story. As such, I believe that I had had as much fun reading these to my son as he did looking at the vivid illustrations (he now loves Yoda!). Each book is perfect for short storytime and can be read through with a young one in 1-2 sittings easily. I am definitely a fan and will look to purchase the other Star Wars Golden Book titles (as well as the future episode VII edition hopefully!).

Great gift for a child.

The art in these books is so eye catching. The stories are actually rather long too which is nice for a little golden book. And they do a good job of breaking down the plots to the movies as well. They even have great attention to detail. For example, Padme’s shirt is even ripped a little bit in the Battle Of Geonosis (which is of course my husbands favorite part of the prequel trilogy lol) Great books and I would definitely recommend them

My Grandson LOVES Star Wars and he's an avid reader so I got him this Little Golden Books Boxed set. For some reason I was under the impression that these were larger than the standard Little Golden Books. They're not though which isn't a real big deal. Each book matches up with one of the movies. The stories are good and the illustrations are nice. At just about $20 it seems a little pricey but it's still a better deal than buying the books individually. My Grandson just turned 8 and he loves the books (which is what really matters!) I took one star off because of the price.

Grandkids 4 to 10 absolutely loved these books. I myself was hoping they'd be a little bit simpler to read for our 6 yr old, to help with his reading skills. However I found them not really very easy reading for beginners. No matter ... they were a HUGE hit. I guess the reading also depends on the child. So good I've also ordered the I Am series.

バラバラに購入するよりお安いです。 エピソード1〜6まで収録。 日本にない絵のタッチですが、かわいい。 複雑な映画ながら、割とうまくまとまっていて、日本語版も出て欲しいなぁと。 あと、このシリーズの背表紙の金色部分、通常と違ってスターウォーズのキャラが書かれているのが、いい演出です。
