A Final Goodbye From Mac
Although this album was never intended to be one, it feels strangely as if this is Mac's goodbye; his untimely and devastating passing occured before Circles could even be finished. Mac's vision for Circles was as a companion to Swimming, the final album he released while living. Even though Circles was unfinished at the time of Mac's passing, Jon Brion, a close collaborator and friend of Mac, took on the difficult task of filling in the missing pieces and completing the project. This could have gone in any direction besides good, but Brion fulfilled the vision of Circles in an incredibly beautiful way.Sometimes I wonder what Circles would have been like if Mac were still alive to have finished it himself; I suppose we will never know. What I do know however, is that Mac's death brings an entirely different meaning to the music. As the title of the album suggests, this album ties everything together and brings his entire legacy back around "full circle". This is the epilogue of Mac Miller's music (and life), and brings a sense of finality to his story.I can't lie, as amazing as this album can be, it's also heartbreaking and difficult to listen to at times. The emotional depth of Mac's pleas for help shine brightly (or dimly, more accurately put) on Circles, only it's too late to save him; by the time this album was released, Mac had already passed. The culmination of subtle allusions to a young death, sprinkled througout his earlier works, ultimately lead to what was foreshadowed all along. Mac was telling us the ending the entire time, and that's why Circles hurts us even deeper. In all the ways that this album hurts to listen to however, Mac left us with a strong finish, and arguably one of, if not his best work. Some of his greatest pieces were realized on this album, and it's hard to deny the power that his voice had. I frequently return to Circles, and when I do, I'm reminded of the brilliance that Mac Miller was. It's painful to know that his incredible soul is gone, but in a way it will live on forever.

One of his best albums
So sad he's gone. I heard this album was supposed to be part of a collection of albums and if I had a genie I would use one of the wishes to hear the rest of what he was going to release. Absolutely beautiful.

Came out nice
I don't understand people who review the album itself on products like this. Like, does anyone at all still buy albums or Blu rays for consuming the product for the first time? Jesus get Netflix or Spotify, or just friends to share your thoughts about said product. When I read reviews here I wanna know if the disc has a cool image and the packing looks nice on the shelf.Either way this one does.

Almost brought me to tears
I’ve never been one to cry during movies or when listening to sad songs but this album made me tear up. It’s been over a year since I first fell in love with it. I was never a Mac Miller fan, didn’t listen to his music until after he died and then I didn’t like any of it. Didn’t like his previous release “swimming” on the first listen, but then this dropped, and the first listen had me tearing up. Never knew I could feel so sad for someone I’d never met. I felt so much emotion in his raspy but passionate singing, and the lyrics hit hard when I let them sit with me. After listening to Circles I went back to later enjoy swimming and a lot of his other music. I hate that I overlooked Mac Miller when he was alive but I’m appreciating him now. I can confidently say this is my favorite album of all time, I don’t think I’ve heard anything better than this. The vinyl is great too xD

5 STARS truley amazing !
Was never a huge mac fan, but this album is truly a unique experience . swimming was good , but some of it felt forced and it still had some small trap references . on circles , his vision for a fully pop album is realized . there is a genuine pain to be felt in his voice which can be felt and heard , its chilling knowing that the pain was genuine since his demise happened shortly after . his obsession with the beatles definetly rubbed off on this one . this amateurish yet compelling aspect to his singing voice is intriguing and brings u in every time . one of the only album that gives me the chills the whole time . I would try to explain it to people like its a cross between the beatles , john legend and kid cudi all did acid together and made an album! God bless u Mac I will never forget what u brought to hip hop . the culture loves u and always has bro since day 1 u kept it real to the day u died !
