I am creating a book of my favorite prayers to give to my children and this book is the perfect vehicle to display heartfelt feelings. I am impressed and the cost was very reasonable.

Let's start with the obvious for anyone whom has ever bought anything on Amazon. It is not going to live up to your expectations, either it will exceed (15-20% of the time) or it will not come close to expectations (85-95% of the time). Yes I'm aware of the overlapping percentages. This falls into the magical overlap where it is below expectations and too cute to reject as it can be used in so many ways. You could make small sketches in it, write in it at two...maybe three paragraphs per side of each page, make your very own Jack Sparrowish keepsake. "That's Captain. Captain Jack Sparrow." Heck, the Holloween junky out there, like myself, might use a pencil and red fountain pen to make a Holloween prop like a convincing miniature Necronomicon.All kidding aside though, if you want a cute Michael's/Joann's sized notebook that looks like something pirates found, this is up your alley. If you are seriously looking for something beefier, well, you should look to something else or the larger one perhaps?Who am I to say though. This may be perfect for you.

Very impressed with this journal, and as my title says for the price! Couldn't believe it... leather feels and smells amazing... its soft and very comfortable in the hands, unlike more rough course leather that you often find in journals. The pages look incredible... seriously like they didn't over or under do it with the vintage look... the ends of the pages are slightly charred... the journal from the side looks awesome.. and handwriting looks fantastic on it! I'm script writing on it and its working way smoother then i expected to be honest.. that was probably the main thing i was worried about... 5 stars out of 5 stars for sure!! This was nicer (for what look i wanted) then anything else on here in ANY price range, anyways rarely leave reviews but they deserved it on this one!

I bought this one for my daughter as a gift, I am soo impressed it came in a cute bag, it is just special , great job on this journal and shipping was fast. I highly recommend this journal as a gift or for your own notes, it is just beautiful, love it !!

This is the most beautiful book I have ever seen! i love vintage and old fashioned things and this was everything that I could ask for!
