This is my fourth electric kettle, and most of my previous kettles had a steel outer body with a plastic base, which always became very hot to touch. I first saw this Havells Altro Electric Kettle at a friend’s place and was honestly a bit worried about handling it when hot.However, after using it myself, I was pleasantly surprised. Even when the water is boiling, the double-layered cool-touch outer body remains safe to hold. I have been using it for about one month now, and so far it has performed flawlessly without any issues.What I Liked (Pros):Cool-touch outer body – very safe and comfortable to handleFast heating and consistent performanceGood handling and gripStable wiring and base, feels reliable during useAuto cut-off button works wellAreas for Improvement (Cons):The wire length is slightly short and a bit stiff; it could have been longer and more flexible.The lid opening design could be better. The lid opens from the top, and when you press the button, hot steam comes directly toward your hand.
