Great product for patching up tears in the boat vinyl. Really just buying yourself time before replacement which is thousands.Best tip, have some Goo Goon remover handy. The tape leaves a sticky glue like residue that is black stone the edges when applying which makes the tape look messy and unprofessional. Perhaps it was hot out when i applied and it melted a little when applying. Regardless i think the goo is unavoidable. The goo gone takes it right off the tape, now it looks great!

Right now, don't waste time!Two, read below on a couple of important but easy steps on using it.1) The directions tell you to cut off the piece you want and then round the corners. Here is something important: Do NOT - guys, read that again - do NOT - use your wife's good scissors or the ones in your knife rack. Don't do it guys. The residue left behind was like crazy glue. It sticks! Your best bet is using a decent pair of scissors and making your cuts in one smooth motion. This will prevent goo from getting on your scissors.2) AFTER cutting, get to where you need to place the tape and then REMOVE the transparent liner over the sticky part of the tape. The directions never tell you to remove this liner! Well, to those people with the negative reviews, they didn't remove the liner. Once you remove it, watch out - it is sticky as can be! Try not to touch the sticky part!!We took the tape, sticky exposed, went underwater, and stuck that bad boy right where the pool was leaking. Pressed all the air out, pressed down on the edges, then just stood on it for a few minutes.Did this for all three holes and not one has leaked again.Okay, so it isn't as pretty as some of the other patches, it is a big black piece of tape. But it works and works fast and it is easy.Buy with confidence.

I use this on the bottoms of my high-end fishing kayaks to prevent abrasion when loading them on and off the trailer or pulling them onshore. Overall, it does very well. My biggest complaint is the seams make them stick to the trailer rails, rendering them a little more difficult to glide off and on the trailer. It's a fair trade off, I suppose, for the benefit of the extra protection.

This tape is VERY STRONG and stickie. I needed to cover a gap from the attic door warm air and small bugs were getting inside my area not allowing the a/c to do its job properly as well this helped sealed the gap!

This roll caught my eye while I was putting together my home office, since I wanted something on hand for small household fixes. I used a strip to seal a small gap by the window after rain left the sill damp. I wiped the area dry, cut the tape to size, and pressed it down. It went on without much fuss, and the clear finish doesn't draw attention. The next rainy morning, the spot stayed dry, which made me glad I had bought it. I also like that I can trim a piece quickly instead of digging around for a complicated repair kit. It feels useful for the occasional fix around the house or garage.

Got it for my camper. So far working good. Didn't like the price just for 10ft . I bought 4 rolls. After adding it up I would have been better off buying a different brand that the same piece or a little bit more but I could have gotten 50ft . That is really what I needed. But you live and learn. Before you buy. Look at how much you need.. I hope this helps someone.

I used this on my car windows because they no longer go up (power windows). I live in California where it is hot and there is rain and it can be cool/cold. The tape works great when it is raining and cold. The windows stay up and no water gets inside. However, we have very hot summers (90°F+ and sometimes 100°F+) where I live and the extreme heat causes the glue on the tape to melt which then causes my windows to slide down. The sticky, gooey residue gets left behind. When this happens, I just leave the widows down for the summer as it is pointless to tape them back up. When fall rolls around and it rains, I have to tape them back up. This annoyance pretty much defeats the purpose of the tape. The tape is supposed to hold in all weather and not fail. It was also difficult to separate the adhesive tape from the liner and to cut a piece of tape off from the core body roll. The whole application from start to finish is messy.

I was needing to cover my 20x40 pool because the pool deck is getting replaced. I ultimately landed on the idea of using this tape with a couple tarps, yes two of them to grab the edges with the tape and try and get it on the side of the stainless pool. We ended up getting 2 1/2” of rain while they were working and it held. Three days later I hooked up the cover pump to drain and the tape is STILL holding. Simply AMAZING tape!! Seriously

Powerful

This stuff works great. I have used it to waterproof truck windows, seal fabric on my ice tent and stop leaks on my aluminum boat. Once on- it is good on all weather. I have purchased over a dozen rolls- best stuff. Once on- it stays put.

Rubbish. Not working under water nor outside water when try to patch a leak on the above water Bestway pool. Lots money list R375😡😡😡😡😡
