Camco Single RV Propane Tank Cover | Features a Removable Top Panel, a Heavy-Duty Polymer Construction, and Fits 20lb. Steel Single Tanks (40578)

Our Keystone Springdale Classic only has one 20lb cylinder for propane. It didn’t come with a cover, so I found this one for a single tank, it works/fits great. For safety and improves the look. The way the hose runs from the tank to the regulator I drilled a large enough hole to route the hose through, also I was able to secure the cover down directly to the tongue of the trailer. Worth the small investment.

Not much to say. Looks good. I did add a few zip ties to make sure the cover doesn't come off by accident. And you'll need to DIY a little to hold the cover down but it's nothing really hard to figure out. Good buy.

The tank cover is great but the first time I took it out on the road the lid flew off. I thought I had it on tight enough so I called Camco and they very kindly sent me a replacement lid very quickly. I thought I advised them it was for a single 20 lb propane tank but instead I received a lid for a two tank cover. So I called them again and told them every clearly what what happened and requested a replacement lid. Again they were very nice on the phone and acknowledged what I needed. Today received a complete cover for a two tank set up. Don't know what to do with it. Will continue to use the single tank cover that I purchased and hope someday I will figure out how to get a replacement lid! Otherwise I really like the unit and it fits great. Glad Amazon shipping isn't like this. Oh, already have a bungee cord ready to hold a new lid down.

Perfect fit and good quality

I've been waiting for this product for 7 yrs. We have a single propane tank & for 7 yrs we had a white leather cover. It was so hard to clean & it dried out horrible. I love this black plastic cover for a single tank. It fits over it nicely & it easy install. I did have to buy a longer propane hose though & lowes didn't carry them but our local tractor supply had them. You can also cut a hole in the plastic for the hose but I didn't want to do that

What a waste. At least on Amazon, many report that this comes without hardware. Mine didnt have it either. If you try contacting camco you have to first register. Forget it.

First thing is that the box it came in was really beat up. I inspected the plastic tank cover and it was not damaged. In the box, I found 3 bolts and 4 lock nuts. The bag had obviously been opened and it needed 10 of each. Not a deal breaker as I have hardware items in my shop. The tank cover went together easily and fit. There were two tabs to mount the tank cover that didn’t line up with my camper frame. That was not a big issue as I planned on mounting a different way so that I could quickly remove it without having to remove bolts. I installed D rings on each side and used a chain with snap rings to attach it to the trailer. The access lid latch was a little flimsy so I will come up with something different so that the lid doesn’t blow off. This product turned out just ok….. it looks good but I spent some time working through the issues. There’s not a lot to choose from so I had to make this one work.
