It's good that uncommon dinosaurs like this are made by toy companies. Out of all the Therizinosaurus dinosaurs out there, I believe this is the most true to what the animal really looked like. My son was very excited about having received this for his birthday, especially after having watched "Chased by Dinosaurs" episode two which features Nigel Marvin on a Safari searching for the Therizinosaurus. The size is perfect in that it goes with his other dinosaurs (unlike the Safari brand one which is too big.) Also, the huge claws, plump body, and feathers make it seem very realistic.

This is a great replica of Therizinosaurus! The quality of the toy is wonderful. Very realistic looking dinosaur. I have a preschool and we were studying dinosaurs. The kids were so excited when this arrived!

This replica looks like the one that is featured in the commonly sold dinosaur videos. (We like to buy replicas that tend to mirror what our National Geographic and BBC videos portray.) It is sturdy but it does need to prop up in front using its claws so its not totally free-standing on back legs alone like the picture shows. Great paint job and details.
