Unclear as to What I Purchased
Recently I decided to start coin collecting and presently have a small but interesting collection going on thanks to a find in the family and a few purchases here on Amazon. I've bought several coins from this seller and I'm overall very happy with the purchases except for this one, because I'm unclear exactly which penny I paid for in order to figure out the value of the coin. I don't mean to say what I ordered was terrible or anything like that, it was simply unclear what I ordered because I ordered several coins all at once and this particular penny is unspecified. That's partly my fault for not keeping very precise records, but seems to be all but impossible to figure out due to the series of pennies that I ordered (in the hopes of creating a year-by-year collection) has multiples of the same years at that. The only way I could have possibly narrowed it down is if the year was specified here, which it isn't, and that may be the point. Trying to be specific here, this was not the only penny bought as a single purchase, but was the only singular purchase that did not include a date. I think the idea was to keep it at random to even out the cost to the value of the penny sold. The cheapest penny value I found was estimated at around $1.70, and the most expensive was much, much more. Just guessing, but I think the idea is that penny dates are specified here to keep it almost lottery style by selling pennies that are worth considerably less alongside pennies worth a bit more than the $3.85 this penny of random date is currently being sold for.Attempting to sum up my reasoning for saying this is just an okay buy above, let me say that Reedersong, the seller I bought this from, is a fine coin seller, this is just an unfortunate situation that was easy to be confused about in my situation. I would suggest that any other coin collectors focus on the clearly stated dates on the coins or go for the grab bag of multiple coins instead of this situation and try to keep tabs on all purchases. Happy hunting!

It's a penny. And it's awesome.
I haven't really done any real coin-collecting except for a stint with bank pennies (wheaties yay!).I didn't have many expectations - I bought this for a school project (I needed a "rare" penny to symbolize my "hope" or "luck" or something like that) and it came in great condition. It's like…wow. If I was a coin collector inspecting this coin, I'd probably complain about the tarnish or what not, but to me this is magical. It looks awesome, and it's still legal currency so it's even more amazing…The only downside is that this was advertised as 1¢ but I had to pay $5 after S&H…though yeah, it's not their fault, I should just get Prime if I care that much.So in all, a great deal for 1¢, and even if it was worse, I couldn't complain…it's a cent. I can't ask for much. They're doing me a favor.

Nice coin!
My penny came in good time (4 days), and I'm overall satisfied. I'm no avid coin-collector, I'm actually just a 17-year-old kid. I have no experience in examining coins, but I'd say the penny is in good, not great, condition. I received a 1906 penny (an 1800's one would've been cool, but it's an Indian-head penny nonetheless). The penny came packaged nicely and can be read with ease. You get what you pay for here, so don't expect a pristine penny, but it was definitely worth buying.

Exactly What The Seller States
I ordered this expecting to get an average quality Indian Head Coin and that's what I got. While I'm sure the seller has various years, I didn't get the oldest or newest coin, I got one that fell right in the middle and was in a little above average conditon. Would give 5 stars if it was the oldest year, but you can't expect that every time. Would buy this product again!

good details on the coin
i received this coin today not knowing the exact condition of the coin being the title said good or better i am by no means a coin grader but ive seen a few coins in my lifetime n this coin was a the very least an (f) or fine probably closer to an extra fine coin i received a 1905 Indian cent and for that year and condition the price was absolutely right and i conclude that this coin is a great value and must have for any collector from novice collectors to very serious and wealthy collectors

The circulated coins was in very good condition and the dates on the coins was quite visible, especially the indian head cent. I received the coins as promised. The packaging was excellent. All around it was a pleasant experience, not only from Amazon.com but this particular bender. I will contine to order from this bender and Amazon.com.Thank you.

What I was looking for for the longest time.
OK. What do I have to complain about this product? NONE! I mean, it's the last item I was waiting for to complete my coin collection and I found it here on Amazon for a very cheap price. The delivery is pretty fast and the coin is super legit! It's real Indian Head Cent and I've been loking for it for years. It's simply amazing!!!

$5 for a Penny
Well out of pure curiosity I purchased this penny, and it was as it shows an Indian Head Penny. Mine came as a 1903, it's cool to have. But the $4.99 for shipping was a little funny, you'd think they could just slap on a 45 cent stamp and mail it.
