Great elasticity to hold thick hair in place.
These are the ponytail holders I was looking for. I used to buy similar ones in a store that stopped carrying them. I have very thick hair and these have great elasticity so they hold my hair firmly in the ponytail. They are also soft and seamless.

1&1/2 inches wide, stretchy terrycloth
These were precisely as described. They did not however describe their width, which is 1&1/2 inches. Not an issue if you plan to wrap them more than once. They were too wide for me. Otherwise a fine product. Wish they made the same style, but only one inch.

Easily snags
Was excited after first few times I wore them, but they snag on rings and now they are ratty looking. Good thing there are 12 so I can save a few when I need a good one

Amazon has everything you need!
These ponytail holders are perfect for my waist length hair (they don’t break my hair off). They are soft and fluffy and the colors are great! I have been looking for these for several years. Finally it dawned on me to check Amazon. What do you know? I ordered them immediately! Couldn’t be happier!

Much smaller now
They make them smaller and tighter now. I have purchased these scrunchies multiple times and they used to be perfect for me. But this last order I received, they are much smaller. Initially I thought they sent me the wrong item. They came in a smaller bag. But when I checked the item number on the bag it is the same as my previous order. So I compared them with new, unused scrunchies from my previous order and saw how much smaller they are. They no longer match the Item description on the page. I’m thinking they would probably be fine for a child, or someone with small hands.
