Amazon Fresh, Chicken Noodle, Condensed Soup, 10.5 Oz (Previously Happy Belly, Packaging May Vary)

I was really happy with the Amazon Fresh chicken noodle soup. Sometimes I just need a small, warm, classic meal, and those one is tasty and "just enough." I was looking for an alternative to the name brand red can and I found a quality replacement at a great price!

Chicken noodle soup has always been one of those comfort foods that takes you back to childhood. Most of us remember eating it when we were home sick from school, and as kids, we weren’t thinking about brands, ingredients, or sodium content. If it tasted good and made you feel a little better, that was all that mattered. We decided to enjoy this soup the same way we did back then, with a sleeve of saltine crackers and a fizzy lemon-lime soda. It brought back plenty of memories, thankfully more of the comforting ones than the being-sick part. Best of all, it tasted really good. Amazon has done a nice job with its private-label soups. They’re affordable, flavorful, and easy to keep on hand. I also appreciate the pull-tab lid, which makes the can easy to open without a can opener, especially if it arrives with a small dent. The long shelf life and versatility are another plus, whether you enjoy it as a quick meal or serve it alongside a sandwich. Overall, this is a comforting, tasty chicken noodle soup that I’ll gladly keep stocked in the pantry.

I grew up on the Campbells Condensed Chicken soup. It's not for everyone, but sometimes I get a craving for the canned soup... even over real chicken soup. At the time of purchase, the Amazon version of it was 70 cents a can. That's 58% of the price of a can of the Campbells brand listed on Amazon. The Amazon brand tastes just the same if not better. It's amazing with all the increasing prices, we are able to still get a can of this stuff for 70 cents. Each can is very salty (98% of your daily sodium value), but you can choose how salty it tastes by adjusting how much water you mix it with or if you even drink the soup at all after you eat the noodles. You're not going to get much actual cubed chicken pieces at 70 cents per can. Insane value for 70 cents. Cheaper than a bottle of water. Will order more next time.

I have an odd complaint but it's not something that will lower the star rating for me. The newest cans are red instead of green. The value is wonderful, the flavor is great, and it just provides the comfort you want it to. On the inside. But chicken soup in a red can just feels weird. I wouldn't buy red cans of chicken soup in a grocery store. I don't know why, exactly. But, I wouldn't buy green cans of tomato soup, either. It's still tasty and versatile. I mix it with other things I have lying around. A chicken soup and a chicken raman work well together. And they come so fast. I ordered these today, and they came today. As someone who doesn't drive, I appreciate that so much.

Definitely worth it for the price, but the noodles were quite sad/mushy.

Tastes like the Campbell's version I loved as a child but without the MSG. I am so glad I found this!
