I bought these sticks to try this year for my son's birthday vs. buying another helium tank - ugh. They worked beautifully! I taped the rods together with the balloons at the heights I needed for decorating and then taped the whole bouquet to the backs of chairs. He was thrilled (6) - he loved the sticks - and what a great way to pass out balloons! - and the balloons lasted and lasted - I actually had to deflate them purposely eventually. When putting balloons on the sticks, you technically don't have to tie the balloon off - you can wrap it in the stick prongs well enough to seal it, though I started having my helpers tie them off because someone's balloons were deflating. Apparently, there's an art to putting the balloons on the stick, lol. We had no issues with tied balloons. Contrary to the picture, not all of the sticks are primary colors. The red was more pinkish. The green was yello-green, etc.

Since helium is becoming scarce I decided to phase into air filled at my business. These sticks are the perfect length. The children love the colors. They are very easy to use. The plastic is good quality and doesn't have any of those "hangtags" that you often find on molded plastic of this sort.

The package was open when I received it and there were only 3 cups. I contacted the seller but they have not responded. The sticks are useless without the cups.

I bought these balloon sticks to use with the cheapest 9" balloons (dollar store mixed pack) to decorate tables at an elementary school PTA spaghetti dinner. The decorations were a hit and, because of the low price, I didn't need to panic when the children took the balloons home with them. And every child left the party with a balloon in hand. Although I had to be a little careful attaching the cups to the balloons, I only popped two of our (really low quality) balloons in the whole process. Our volunteers found it fairly easy to attach the cups to the sticks. We didn't have any problems with the cups falling off the sticks, but we didn't have any wind to contend with either. I would have rated this product a five, but the sticks and cups weren't even in the same colors and certainly couldn't have been matched up like the picture shows. We also ended up with a bunch more sticks than balloons. I didn't count them all, but I think it was because we received extra sticks and not because we didn't receive enough cups. Overall this was a good purchase, especially considering how far it helped us stretch our very limited budget.

Great item...better than buying helium! Balloons can come off the stick easily. A little piece of tape stops that. Def. a must if your doing street fairs etc.

Quality as expected, not all the peices fit together tightly, but serves the purpose for a kids party. Main concern was that the cup colors didn't match up with corresponding stick colors. After matching them up, I was left with about 35 red cups and only green, blue, and yellow sticks.

I did a lot of searching for the best price and Amazon is great for this. When the balloon sticks and cups arrived I was all excited until I opened the box. The colors were not at all like what is shown In this picture. First I need to say this, I ordered the balloon sticks and cups because it would be a lot cheaper then buying helium balloons. I've never used these before and didn't even know about them until during my search I found a web site that had the cutest balloon designs. You know like animals, shapes, flowers etc. I sent them an email telling them how cute they were. A person replied to thank me for the compliments. He/she offered to a answer any questions I had. So I asked how can I hold up a blown up balloon. This was how I learned about balloon sticks and cups. Thus began my search for supplies. I can make balloon arrangements for center pieces and I have only two grandsons and two sons, no little girls. I liked what I saw in the colors of the balloons sticks, exactly what I was looking for and expected to get equal amounts of cups to match. Not so.. Well the package of 144 didn't even have one yellow or white not even a pink There were a few green, hardly any yellow and only five blue, no white or red as shown in the picture. And the rest??? "PURPLE"!!! I was so disappointed. The cups were just as disappointing, there were a few green, blue, yellow ( I don't have matching sticks) and red. No white and the rest? "PINK" which I don't have matching sticks! I assumed and expected to receive pretty much equal amounts of balloon sticks and matching cups. However the lot I received I really can't use them since there aren't very many that match. I don't know if I was just unlucky because I read the reviews before I decided to place an order. I didn't read anything negative about matching colors. If I did, I probably wouldn't have taken the chance to order these. Maybe it's better just to get all white then there wouldn't be any disappointments. But I love color. I haven't used any of these yet but the quality of the sticks and cups are fine, the sticks feel nice and sturdy. I stopped for a minute just now to test out a cup and stick put together. I just happened to have a blown up balloon. I stuck the cup into the stick, it fell off, I stuck it in again, it fell off, I tried it for a third time and push in the stick a little harder. It again fell off. I finally had to push really hard In order for the stick to stay on. I just shook it to see if it was going to fall off again but it seems to be stable now. I called customer service right away and the young lady was very sweet. She promptly credited my account. Customer service is always great at Amazon. I will continue to order for them.

I bought these for my kids' birthday party so I didn't have to shell out for helium balloons and they were a hit! A number of people commented on how nice my balloons looked by using these sticks in a clear vase (with a picture of the party theme wrapped inside). The best part is they are reusable!!! I can now spend about $1 on a bag of 25-30 balloons and by using these, they will stand up and give the room a party feel! I also displayed the balloons on these by sticking them behind the curtain rods in some rooms to have higher balloons. These sticks were a great purchase!
