Great addition to my knitting library
Exactly what I wanted. Has many lace patterns I didn’t have and they’re more broken down in different elements, compared to the Japanese Lace Bible. There are charts only. A few written instructions would’ve been nice to make sure you’re following the charts correctly but all the symbols are explained. A must for experienced lace knitters. If you don’t like charts this isn’t for you.

Good stitch source book
great stitches overall. They are similar to those we see in western crochet with stitch variants that make them appear more delicate or intricate. Most though are just graphs of what we know. Which is not a drawback for those who prefer visual learning or charts. There is a description of every stitch used in the charts the only drawbacks are that they are photgraphed on similar backgrounds leading you to believe the stitch is closer or rather...not lacey just because you cannot see through the stitch. Also the charts can be fussy.

This book is exceptional
The instructions are amazing and above all the photographs are exceptional. The book is divided well according to type of stiches and you start looking at the book and finish looking at the whole book because it is so nice. This is one of the best knitting books I have seen. I'm not generally a crochet type person, but the crochet section is excellant too.
