Is there such a thing as too fast?
When my staff uses this in a small office setting, this thing spits out pages like a recent TV commercial touting fast internet speeds. The unit is simply awesome. I bought two of these after trying out a single unit first. That says it all to me.I do not use the bundled software, as I am using along with a document software program on my PC's at work (running windows 7, hate PC's, love Macs, but that is my only option at work). So, I use the ISIS drivers. Again, perfect unit. Hope it is as durable as all my other Fujitsu units: one at home, 5 at work.

Quality, fast scanner. Great value for big batch scanning.
Top quality scanner. Does exactly what it says. This is a dramatically faster scanner than the ScanSnap. Of course the price is substantially more as well but if you have to scan large batches of papers, this would be a great investment as it will save a lot of time.My only disappointment is the ScanSnap manager software for fi scanners does not have an option to save documents to PDF/A (their popular lower end scanner does this).

The scanner is perfect, very fast
The scanner is perfect, very fast. Wish I would not have spent the money on the image capture software. I installed it and found it not easy to use and my purpose is mostly PDF archiving. The PaperStream Capture software I felt was not easy to use and there is not a lot out there on how to use it so I'm just using the free included software for my purpose.

Super happy with this scanner
Super happy with this scanner. We bought it for our admin staff to use and in a few months, we had scanned 25,000 pages without an issue. Scans fast, easy to setup, quality is great. If the time comes that we need another scanner, I will definitely get another.

Durable machine
We had the exact same model for 6 years here at our company. I told the managers that we got our use from it, when the sensors starting going out. Not bad for scanning 10,000 pages per week. I took the old one out and put the new one in, and scanning commenced with no issues what so ever. No configurations needed. I do think they are expensive, but in this case, you get what you pay for.

Decent scanner; Skip the bundle
The scanner itself is fast and solidly built. The PaperStream Capture Pro software bundle is basically throwing money out the window. The scanner came with a basic version of the PaperStream software on DVD and a printed sheet with instructions on how to request a download link for the Pro version upgrade. Unfortunately, when you go to the website listed in the instructions you get a message, "Oops! That site can't be found."After calling their support phone number, being led on a merry chase with multiple people and providing serial number, model number and proof that I had, in fact, purchased this scanner from Amazon... they stopped replying to my e-mails. Everything had been professional up until the point where they simply went silent.I never received the Pro version I had paid for and have been making do with the standard version of the software for the past year. Another Amazon reviewer a year prior to my purchase had reported a similar problem. I wish I had listened to them, but I naively thought it was an isolated issue Fujitsu would have corrected after a year. I was wrong.

Great Product.
Fujitsu is the best. No problems here! Super fast and works with all medical emr systems. This has TWAIN drivers so you can use it in almost all professional environments/software.

Does not wok on Mac
Advertised as Mac compatible. It is not. The Fujitsu software does not work on Mac. You have to use Mac's built-in scanner software.
