Great fun, but not the best build quality
This is a simple pole and ring mounted on a plastic base. It was fairly easy to put together. It comes with the spanners needed, but I used my own sockets. When assembling it, don't tighten all the screws as it will give you some wriggle room. It was a bit unclear on how to hook up the net, but I figured it out. You will need to fill the base with water or sand to make this stable. Filled with water and it isn’t going anywhere (hence the wheels to move it).When assembled the family had a great day playing with it. The max height of the ring is about 2m. The stated size of 214cm is a bit of a stretch, but it is high enough to make it a challenge for adults, yet reachable for children. It is easy to adjust the height. Just unscrew a (hand) bolt, line up the next hole and reinsert bolt, tighten and play.We were using a size 7 basket ball and it was about the right size for the ring.Would have given 5 stars, but for £90 I just don’t think the build quality is as good as it could have been – one example is the wheels. They do a good job of allowing you to put it away at the end of the day (or season), but the axel keeps shifting as it isn’t locked in place. The ring has a downward angle as if it is bent, but it is just the way it has been made.Glad I got it as it has been so much fun and we are getting some exercise and family bonding.
