My 11 y/o son has found these to be engaging. He likes Harry Potter and Percy Jackson type stories. These have held his attention pretty well though he’s not reading quite as fast. I read the first two books myself and can say there are definite parallels to the Bible which made it fun to try to tie the two together. In the back of each book, there are discussion questions that go chapter by chapter. I haven’t explored these with my son to know what he thinks of them but they are there. I’m happy with the purchase.

I bought the first 6 books in this series for my Grandson for Christmas. He's finished the first one and loved it. This series is a great set for any teenage boy.

Adding good literature to our house raise up the the best clear minded.

Chuck Black is a master storyteller who weaves a rich tale that takes six books to tell. Each one tells a Scriptural story encapsulated in a fantasy story. I cannot praise these books enough. The world Chuck Black has created has so many facets to it that the reader becomes one with the story. Each book touches on an aspect of our lives that the reader can relate to. These are a must-read!
