Great protection.
I ordered the Nina Summer white floral. I need 2 so I ordered the sm/med first, It fits my almost 4yr old grand daughter but not my 5 1/2 year old grand daughter. They were both excited and like the flowers print so I will order another. I like the Bern because they have more coverage.

Great helmet
This helmet is great. At 2.5yo my daughter has a large head and it fits her great. Makes me feel good about her playing on her bikes and what not. the bill on it is really more for decoration than shade but she doesn't mind. Adjusts easily.

GREAT HELMET
I WAS WORRIED THIS WOULDN'T FIT MY DAUGHTERS RATHER LARGE HEAD (SHE IS ALMOST 9) BUT IT FITS PERFECTLY-SNUG BUT NOT TIGHT. IT IS SUPER CUTE AND I FEEL IT IS MUCH BETTER PROTECTION THAN MOST BICYCLE HELMETS.

Just a heads up for those confused with sizing. I found the size chart on the Bern website. It states a xs/s size is 18.9-20.3 inches and a s/m size fits 20.3 to 21.45 inches. Hope that helps.
