XIWMIX Slim 7-Color Backlit Bluetooth Keyboard for iPad, Tablets & Phones

Originally, I ordered a “like new” version of this keyboard and left a mixed review. But after replacing it with a brand new one, I’m updating my review, it’s excellent! It pairs seamlessly with my iPad every single time I turn it on, connects instantly, and all keys are perfectly responsive. I use it for both gaming and everyday typing, and it handles everything flawlessly. The design is super compact, ultra flat, and looks sleek and modern. Battery life is impressive too. I don’t use it daily, but it lasts a long time between charges. Highly recommend this keyboard if you’re looking for a reliable, high-quality option for your iOS device! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 😏 Previously One Star Review (Like New) ⭐ I ordered the “Like New” condition of this keyboard, but several keys on the left side were completely unresponsive and didn’t work at all. Very disappointing. I’ve returned it and ordered a brand new one instead. I’ll update this review once the replacement arrives and I can test it properly. UPDATE: the seller reached out to me almost immediately after reading this review and offered to replace it. By the time I noticed it, I had already sent the defective keyboard back and ordered a new one. But I’m glad they did reach out to me quickly.

So...first of all, I'm a keyboard snob. I type for a living and so the tactile quality of KEYS is very important to me. That being said, I ordered and returned six wireless keyboards, before keeping the seventh one (an HP, different review) that I love. This little bluetooth keyboard came up after my HP purchase as a 'suggestion'. I liked the light-up and 'littleness' of it, so I decided to purchase it for the heck of it. Well. Let me tell you. I took it out of the box, (loving the box itself), connected it to my laptop and fell in love immediately. The keys are AWESOME. They're 'tight'- not totally silent, but I like the very subdued 'click' I get as feedback when I type. I could type forever on it. And the lights are fantastic!! It offers the option of turning the backlight off, or keeping one of the colors on, or letting the rainbow effect happen. It connected quickly to my phone (android) as well and it's wonderful to be able to type a text on a larger keyboard than my phone offers. I've kept my excellent HP keyboard as well, as that is a full-sized keyboard and when I need a side number's pad, I use it. This little keyboard offers numbers across the top only. The other thing is that the 'back' button on this little keyboard is not larger than other keys so I've trained myself to reach a little farther when needing the back button, but that's a SMALL issue. Battery initially lasted three days, but I didn't use it constantly, I switched between my full size and this. After one day of using this little guy, I purchased a second one as a gift for my sister, knowing she would love it, and she does. This is a great purchase- so light, small, wonderfully functional and the price is great. LOVE IT!!

So far, I really like this keyboard. Right out of the box, I was wowed by the brightly lit backlighting in seven vivid and dazzling colors. Much nicer than an identical looking keyboard I recently tried. I have inluded pic of both. The butterfly keyboard on my MB pro needs replacement, so I needed a reliable alternative until I can get it fixed. But I will have to iwait until afer after this pandemic because I cannot afford to lose my cmputer for a month or more. Most Pre 2019 MB Pro owners know what I am talking about. I love the key height, smooth key travel, and compact size, but it keeps dropping the Bluetooth connection every few seconds or so. Very frustrating. I realized I didn't set it to t to the correct IOS setting, and the instructions and keyboard Fn key markings are in disagreement. I settled on Fn D and/or Fn E for my MB Pro laptop, but the instructions seem to indicate this keyboard is mostly geared for tablets. And the settings differ between iPad size, Windows, and Android tablet operating systems. I eventually got it working at an acceptable level. It's too soon to comment on battery life, but so far, I really like this keyboard compared to others I have used (and plan to return). Right now, I would rate this at about 4 1/2 stars. It's attractive and lightwieght with adjustable liight levels. I'm digging it!

At first hand on look I love it. I'm building a briefcase into a raspberry pi 5 laptop. I needed a small thin keyboard to fit into 3d printed mount but needed room underneath keyboard to fit raspi. The top lid of briefcase is a 7 inch touch screen so it was very important for keyboard not to touch screen when closed. I only had 6.43mm and the diamentions described for product are dead-on down to whole mm. Description didn't have a float value for decimal but real description Another note is the bottom of keyboard is metal and that will help keep raspi 5 compartment cooler for airflow and give an accurate thermistor reading. The buttons are well built and LED bright and easy to see in dark areas. I connected it to a few thing yet but description on how to connect to any device is very easy for all skill sets to. Connect bluetooth. When it comes to what it can connect too description doesn't say linux but YES it compatible to my raspberry pi 5 running Linux. I don't own a Mac but connects to windows. And it's well priced.

Small, lightweight, with great happiness response, and easy to pair...and it's magnetic! It sticks to my tablet cover! Backbiting keys ate also helpful. Highly recommend!

This keyboard is just what I needed. It fits right into the carrying case I have for my iPad Pro (3rd Gen) 11” and it is super lightweight. It is easy to type with and sits perfectly in my lap on the go. I almost prefer it that was since it does slide around when typing on a flat surface. I maybe recommend getting some sort of adhesive rubber for the bottom to prevent this from sliding. The base of the keyboard seems to be made from metal, so that adds to the slickness. The keyboard itself is very lightweight and compact. I have small hands, so it works perfectly for me. The only con I see is the sleep mode. I ponder a lot when writing, so when the lights turn off for “sleep mode” it breaks my concentration. So I either need to have them off or keep typing to have the light stay on.. which isn’t much of an issue at all. I would just prefer the lights stay on until you turn them off. I recommend this keyboard for the price. It is simple to use, easy to setup, and very portable. 9/10 from me!

FYI: All the reviews listed for this keyboard includes reviews for other products sold by this seller!!!!!!! DO NOT BUY THIS KEYBOARD!!! I bought this to pair with my tablet last summer to make typing easier. I didn't use it much at first, but quickly found that the more I did the worse it got. At first, it charged and kept it's charge, connected perfectly and although it slid around a bit it was advertised as light weight, so all things considered it was doing well. Then around Nov. or Dec. the problems began. It started by needing charging more often. I chalked it up to user error an owed to charge it longer and more often. Time went on, but I wasn't using it much, so forgot about the issue. Then this year the same thing was happening again. This time I attributed the problem to the charger being worn out(I was using a older cord that charged multiple things). Finally a I bought a new cable and was excited to use it more often. Charged it up, light went from red to blue meaning fully charged. Started using, and it last maybe 20 mins. before saying it needed charging. That pissed me off, so I just put it aside. Grrrrr! Finally able to monitor all the things and discovered I could ONLY USE it for 10 -15 mins. TOPS and CHARGING IT WAS A COMPLETE DISASTER!!!!!!🤬🤬🤬🤬No only did I have to keep the STUPID THING CHARGEING for DAYS, if I did not WATCH IT CHARGE the charging light would go OFF and WOULD NOT CHARGE!!!!! All of this in LESS than a YEAR from when I PURCHASED!!!!! SPEND THE EXTRA 10 BUCKS AND GET A KEYBOARD THAT WILL LAST YOU LONGER THAN 4 MONTHS!!!! For reference, I bought the XIWMIX Ultra Slim Wireless Bluetooth Keyboard - 7 colors Backlit Universal Rechargeable Keyboard...blah blah blah, in White!!!

Very thin and compact. Was looking for a mini backlit keyboard for my desk, this was perfect! I don’t always like to turn on lamp or lights just to see my keyboard so the backlit feature was the main reason I got this. The ease of use setting up was great, no issues with connectivity. Not a very loud clicky keyboard, some noise but personally not bothersome. Overall I love it!

Excelente teclado bluetooth, recarcable retroiluminado, muy comodo y practico, le quedo perfecto a una tablet de 10.1 pulgadas, super delgado. La parte de abajo es metalico, por lo que podran utilizarlo en fundas con iman. Los colores son brillantes y muy bonitos la verdad esta muy padre de buen material, se los recomiendo. Lo pueden utilizar iluminado con uno de los colores que trae o sin luz, se apaga cuando no lo utilizan, lo que ayuda a mantener la carga. Se recarga facilmente.

I have a big Samsung TV which I use for the purpose of office-work. However, it was a pain to use the laptop keyboard while it is connected to the TV. This keyboard solved this problem perfectly. The keys are sleek and the quality of the keyboard is quite good. There is a minor scope for improvement on the body front. Had the manufacturer used a slightly better quality of plastic, the keyboard would have been even more stunning. Last but not the least, the color features are very impressive. Simply go for it.

The keyboard is definitely worth the price taking into consideration the fact that it is bluetooth and backlit with several colour options. However, it doesn't have anything on the bottom to prevent it from slipping around, which can be annoying at times, especially since it is so lightweight.

Excelente teclado, cumple ampliamente con mis expectativas, lo adquirí para controlar un Apple TV no muy reciente (siempre es molesto estar ubicando letra por letra en el control del Apple TV) y ha funcionado perfectamente en aplicaciones como Netflix Prime y similares. Una advertencia, intenté emparejarlo con mi televisor Samsung y tuve problemas pero no quise seguir intentando con probar cambiar la compatibilidad del sistema operativo. No sé si es el término adecuado pero el teclado trae instrucciones para ajustar la compatibilidad con IOS, Android y Windows que ya no intente probar. Gran ventaja que sea retroiluminado si acostumbras, como yo, a ver la TV con poca luz.

Interesting product very light weight feels as though it could be a little more solid. I bought two, one of the keys on one did not appear to work unless you tap hard, through wear it may become more free but it’s not really an issue. The device auto corrected the word anyway! For the money it does the job colourful back lighting is a nice touch. The rest of the keyboard is just absolutely fine the keys have a nice travel depth and feels comfortable when typing. The upper case is solid enough I think the back plate could be a little thicker which is why I felt it could be more solid. However it is screwed to the top case with 12 small screws. Overall apart from the one key issue (why I gave it 4 stars and not 5) does the job intended and worth the money. The other keyboard works ok maybe I was unlucky but I think through time that key will free itself.
