It works great
Needed a way to hold down things on my Drill press. With a minor tweak, it fits my Kreg auto clamp and works perfectly.

Very Useful
I do almost all of my work on location. I have portable worktables that have pre-formed bench dog holes that I rely on to do a lot of assembly, customization, and general building/making tasks. These add extra versatility and usability to my worktables by letting me use my bench clamps with them. The base increases the footprint underneath the clamp where it secures against the table over the bench dog holes giving it a much more solid setting against the table surface than just the metal clamp itself. The knob which screws on underneath the table is very solid. The knob itself is plastic but the threaded inside is a metal nut. Because the diameter of the knob is as wide as it is, it snugs the tool very well to the table and is easy to control where a smaller diameter would give less area to give better hand control.

More bells & whistles than the Kreg base...
This Milescraft base is priced nicely at $10 and gives you more bells and whistles than the Kreg base which costs twice as much. It has a V groove, as well as an alignment jig that helps to clamp down at exactly where the two wood pieces meet. However, I'm not sure how useful it really is, because after all, this base is made for a bench dog table. And when you have such a table, chances are you already have a system on how to square your pieces to join. I have a Kreg adaptive cutting table, and I use fences and bench dogs to make sure pieces are aligned nicely. Nevertheless, it could be useful to some people, which is an added bonus. In the pictures, you'll see I'm using a Kreg clamp with this Milescraft base. They are interchangeable. You can use a Milescraft clamp with the Kreg base as well.

Does not fit Kreg clamp
One of the responses to the questions said that it would fit any “5/16” 18 thread INCLUDING KREG” (emphasis added). So I bought three and destroyed all of the packaging in the process. But I next found out that it does not fit the Kreg. It goes in one to two turns then stops. Another comment said that they are difficult to screw in and he had to use pliers. That would have been my experience but I didn’t feel like destroying my Kreg clamp just to install this device.

Probably are good-don't fit my table-sending back
These look well made. However, it would be nice if the description stated how thick of a table these will fit. My woodworking table is 3" thick. The provided shaft through the dog holes is too short to fit this dimension. If they were a half inch longer, they would work. The shafts are double sided with two different sizes, so extending them would not work easily. Too bad. They are being sent back.Hope this helps others with a similar situation.

Better option than Kreg
This clamp based offers better option than Kreg. Bolt is a bit long. Sawing it down an inch is no problem. Perfect fit for 20mm dog hole workbench. The pocket holes accessory ain't square, which is useless.

Difficult to thread into clamp
Sturdy enough and serviceable. But threading was very difficult to get a into milescraft clamp by hand. Had to use pliers to force insert. Was a bit easier the second fitting, still had to use pliers. More of a place and leave system. Not as handy as the Kreg system (but 3x the money) For $10, you get what you pay for. BTW the clamps are very good.
