Visible progress after just one soak—Hammy’s tail is finally improving!
We adopted Hammy, our bearded dragon, from another family, and his skin wasn’t in great condition when he came to us—especially his tail, which had retained shed that just wouldn’t budge. After trying a few things with no luck, we gave the Zoo Med Electrolyte Soak a shot, and wow—after just one soak, we saw a clear difference. Part of the tail shed loosened and came off properly, and you can actually see the change in the photo I posted. He’s not completely finished shedding yet, but I’m confident another soak will help finish the job. It’s easy to use, and I love that it supports hydration and skin health without stressing him out. If you’ve got a reptile with stubborn shed, especially on the tail, this soak is absolutely worth trying. Hammy’s looking better already, and we’re so glad to see him more comfortable.

A must have for bearded dragons
I love this stuff! Our bearded dragon does not drink water so this stuff is absolutely amazing. Works great helps to shed dead skin and rehydrate.

Helps with shedding
We have used this on multiple occasionsgor our chameleon when she's getting ready to shed and so far, she has shed faster and cleaner than before. We make sure this is mixed well before soaking her and set her on a towel after. Good results. Her skin looks beautiful.

Great Product and Really Works
I was skeptical about buying this soak because either the reviews were great or weren't. I realized why some buyers negatively reviewed this product. One was the packaging. The inner seal is not one of those thick, hard to remove ones but it does the trick for keeping the content inside fresh. The second was that it's half full. True, but I measured mine out and I got more than the 16 oz advertised. It's a bigger container but it's for a reason. Third, the powder is a bit hard but let me remind you it contains oils in it so it binds a bit. No big deal; I mixed it (hence the bigger container) around and had a bunch of loose powder to work with in mere seconds. Last the smell. If you work out and have used protein powder shakes; it smells like that. It's just all the nutrients. Once in the water, you smell nothing. All the bad reviews seem to be based on these reasons. It's sad because this soak is WONDERFUL. My Beardie turned into a new little guy overnight and that's that I was already covering all the care correctly. Still, you miss a lot being a new Beardie Parent. He shedded well, looks vibrant and shiny. He is acting more alert and interactive. All in all a great product that delivers. I hope you get the same results I did. Tip: for a Beardie bath, I filled about a gallon of water and mixed a little less than the top of the scoop. Then I emptied water from our bath container until the desired amount perfect for my little guy. Easy and simple. No risk of over or under doing the amount.

Good product
This comes with a scooper and I add in one scoop each time I soak my bearded dragon to help hydrate her a bit more. I am not sure if it’s actually assisting and keeping her hydrated however, I do throw it in as a little bit of extra piece of mind.

A need for reptile owners!!
I’ve had my ball pythons since they were babies! They are all 8 years old now. My one ball always had issues when it came to shedding. No matter what we do to try and help. We’ve tried changing the humidity, the type of bedding, the hides. We thought maybe it was because they all live in the same enclosure. We tried splitting them up when they were a bit older to see if that was stressing her out. They all did not like that so we put them back together. They always ball up with eachother unless they’re basking so i took the other hides out and made my own to see if it was the material. We always feed them separate so i knew it wasn’t due to lack of nutrition. I use a large container for their water so she can submerge herself when she needs to. The water definitely helps. Almost every time she sheds we have to get the skin off her one eye. The vet said it was probably due to how she was breed or once she hatched cause none of my other pythons have that issue. The vet said just get vaseline and get it off gently with a q-tip. You can tell it really bothered her cause every time she was so good and let us get it off with no fight. Just recently it got worse. I wasn’t even able to get it off with the vaseline like i usually can. So I immediately got this. Once it came i put some of this in and let them all soak. After, i took some vaseline and tried getting it off. That didn’t work, but the skin around her eye loosened and i was able to gently peel it off and off came the skin around her eye and on her eye! She seemed so relieved instantly!! I noticed it really made all their colors pop more, especially my pastel and pin stripe! I wanna take off a star due to mine not coming with the scooper. I had no idea how much to put in, but since i really think this helped imma leave the 5 stars! The real test is the next shed so i’ll try and update for owners who possibly suffer with the same issue!

My bearded dragon is happy.
This product never fails with my bearded dragon, Nigel. Each time I put Nigel in a bath with these electrolytes, he is comforted to the point he takes a healthy poo each time.

I have a female African Ball Python. I was having issues with her sheds. They wouldn't come off in a piece. I would have many small pieces. I started soaking her once a week, for 20-30 mins, in warm water with half a scoop of Zoo Med Electrolyte soak. And Voila... Her sheds are now coming off in one piece and her colour has become much brighter too.

My rescue beardy has some health issues , bathed him in this he had a little drink of it and was well boosted almost like he had had an energy drink no longer lethargic and helped him poop the next day , increased his appetite ( they must drink some they will not absorb it they do not do this , Only downside to product it isn’t a powder it should be but seemed it had got damp so needed to break bits off to dissolve in the water Much better that any repo boost
