How far off are these weights gauranteed to be off?

American Weigh's first bullet cites the accuracy standards for these weights: "• Class: OIML Class M2". For a table of allowable deviations see this page: http://www.npl.co.uk/reference/faqs/what-is-oiml-recommendation-r-111-(faq-mass-and-density) .

There are 15 weights shown, 14 described. Which is correct?

There are 15 weights as I received. There are 2-2 g weights in the set. There is one 2-g weight not listed in the text as described.

The ad sez "Set 2" ... is there a "Set 1", "Set 3", etc. and, if so, what are the pros and cons?

Each set is different. Just click on the set and it will give you details of each set. Each set is priced separetly. You should purchase the set that includes the correct weights for your needs.
