Ok
This heater is pretty good so far. I have a 2 car insulated garage including door. My wife sits outside quite a bit because she is a smoker. I Installed it 6 feet above her head and tilted it downwards. So in her chair she stays very warm. The heater will heat for about 10 min then heating element will shut off and the fan will blow the excess heat off before starting the element again. Power saving..So for her she is hot for 10 min and warm for 5. The garage would probably get to the temp you want in 1 hour and stay that way if you left it on. I could get my garage to 80 easy if i left it on for a few hours. Be aware you will need an electrician for this heater, unless your handy..cost me about 200 dollars. I have documented last months power bill and will post again when i get this months. It is probably on for a total of 1 hour a day.. 2 Hours on weekends. The pick a watt thing is kind of confusing. It comes at 5700w and if you want you can unplug an element inside the heater and use less power. If you are looking for some serious heat my brother just bought a propain type heater and he could heat his garage to 80 in 5 min and keep it 100 easily. I will post on propain usage as winter goes by..

Quit working less than a year without any siginificant usage.......
I got this until installed professionally into our 2 car garage in March 2019 and did not get a chance to really use it until now. It worked fine for the couple of times when needed but recently it got really cold and of course the heater completely stopped working. Electricians are called back and I will update this review with their findings and comment about the manufacturers 5 year warranty. What a disappointment in the middle of the winter!Update: Jan 14thI emailed King's customer service and got a call back within 15 mins from a very helpful tech (I am still very impressed with their customer service). He indicated that it is most likely the thermostat and a replacement part will be in mail shortly.Update Jan 16th:Got the replacement parts right away but up on opening up the unit to replace the thermostat, I observed that there was a small fire inside the unit which is to a point, I am not comfortable repairing it.Emailed King back and they are sending me a new unit (again, great customer service) Electricians are called back in to install the new unit next week which will cost me another $150 for the install. I am glad this heater did not cause a big fire and I am willing to give them a 2nd chance due to King's pretty good reputation in the industry.I will post pictures of the old unit once it is off of the garage ceiling.

Keeps the garage a warm working temperature!
This is great to heat our garage while working in it in the winter. The space is a two car garage plus an extended approximately 10' x 10' area in front of one of the car spaces. Being in Maryland we have some cold winters and this brings the garage to a tolerable temperature, around 60 F or so. It was easy to install and works great. Even though we didn't need to use this feature, it has the option to re-wire to change the wattage if needed for the circuit you are adding it to. We used an extra long dryer cord for it, which we purchased separately on Amazon because the cords at the local big box stores were not long enough for our application. Edit: 1\12\2019 I just wanted to follow up I have been using this heater in my garage for just over 3 years now and I still love this thing. we added insulation above the garage which helped and then I added 2 fans that hang on the wall and have them setup to where they blow air in a circle this has helped a lot in heating the garage faster. without the fans hot air would collect around the heater and it would turn off more circulating the air heats the whole garage and lets the heater run until all of the garage is warm. between the insulation and the fans it takes about 15 minutes to get the whole garage from freezing to 60ish and after just a few more minutes it easily gets to 70 or above now. I do use a portable space heater to help heat the garage at first. after it is warm i turn the fans off and the space heater and this heater alone keeps the garage warm! I have no regrets in buying this heater!

This heater seemed to work ok for a week
I wrote a review before but the heater I guess I SPOKE TO SOON. The heater only worked correctly for 1 month after that thermostat want out on it. At this point it is 32 degrees in Chicago at max temp I can get my very well insulated garage up to 42 degrees. That is a joke. I have contacted the company 5 times to get me a new thermostat they just keep telling me it was shipped. At this point it was shipped 4 weeks ago and still no thermostat. Now the company will not even return my calls. I would not buy this unit again if you gave it to me. I am about to throw it in the garbage. I suppose if you get lucky and get a good working unit you will be fine but if you have any problems their so called 5 year warenty is a joke.I am going to add to my review as now that I have owned this Heater for 6 months I can tell you one very important fact. Plan on buying an external Thermostat. I went out and got a wall mounted thermostat and the heater works great. So plan on spending an additional $65.00 on the external thermostat and you will be happy.

First class heater, but you cannot expect it to ...
First class heater, but you cannot expect it to be quiet, you will hear the fan. I use mine in the garage so it does not matter at all.

Stopped working
Unit stopped putting out heat less than a month after installation. I has barely been used and not even cold yet. There is zero information on the internet or with the manufacturer to provide any means of troubleshooting.
