The material that a woobie is made of is supposed to be parachute cloth, making it silky and comfortable. This woobie is mostly made of this material, but the border is made of a stiffer plastic material that makes it less smooth. What makes up for the border material is the overall size. This thing is large! My woobie in the Army barely covered from my neck to toes, this one covers everything with room to spare. My daughter loves this and I am glad I bought it for her. Thanks.
