Best tire shine/ detailing product ever
This is the best car detailing product Iโve ever used and Iโve been cleaning and detailing cars for 30 years. Tradition Tire shines worst trait is the greasy residue left on the tires that attracts everything and the over spray on the vehicle and residue when itโs gone are all highly negative which keep a lot of people away from saying tire shines. This stuff may be a lot more work than spraying your tires from a bottle but the fact you do it once and it stays shiny in appearance for months even years and has no sticky residue is well worth the extra work involved. Which is mostly the cleaning/prep work . Donโt hesitate . Iโve had this on my 33in Mickey Thompson on my 4runner for 2 years and you can still tell itโs there . Iโve had it on my SRT Durango for almost a year and it still looks like fresh tire shine.

It works and itโs amazing
Iโm giving it 5 stars right now because I just got done with doing my tires. I must say that the finished result looks incredible. It was way easier to do it with tires off. Compared to when the tire is mounted to the wheel and installed on the car. It doesnโt wipe off when dry. I have not washed or cleaned the car with them on. It took many hrs to scrub and wipe off all the silicone on the tires. The first day I sprayed each tire with degreaser first, scrubbed, rinsed, then put dish soap, scrubbed, washed. Let it dry. At this point thereโs like a white film that is kind of hard to scrub off. I had to re apply the wheel cleaner Atleast 4x on each tire. Each time allowing it to fully dry, assess where thereโs left over silicone and scrub again. Finally onceโs it done I applied 2 coats to each tire of the dura shine and let it dry completely before the 2nd coat. Hereโs the end result. There is a photo of the car where the front wheel does not have the applied dressing and the rear has the durashine dressing on. Letโs see how long it lasts.

Worth the work!
This is my second application from a little over a year ago. I LOVE this stuff! The high gloss lasted about 4 months, then, for another 4-5mos it had a lower shine. The last 6mos it was still great because the tires stayed a deep black, so it still looked good after washing. I go through the automatic wash every 7-10 days, then a good hand wash once a month, or so. You HAVE to scrub, scrub, scrub! The first time I had some "bald" spots where I didn't get cleaned good enough. It takes a good 5 wash and rinses, each tire. This time I did 3 additional passes even after bubbles were white and I always had some "brown" pop up. I won't lie, it's hard work, took about 5hrs from beginning to end, but I won't have to do anything to the tires again. If you want to keep the high gloss all you have to do is 1 good scrub and reapply as soon as gloss fades. I've had several friends get it, some look better than the others. The ones that didn't look good cleaned more and came out great. Scrub, scrub, SCRUB!! It's worth the time and $$!! When it's time for new tires, I'm going to bring them home first and apply Dura coat, then have them installed.

Great Product but Extensive Prep
5 โญ๏ธ for the Product. | 3-4 โญ๏ธ for the Prep. Recommendations & Tips: -Block out a good chunk of your day. Took about 5.5-6hrs (Including detailing the whole truck). -Brand New Tires scrubbed 3x (1) w/white wall cleaner for the lettering. -Keeping the tires and wheels soaked while scrubbing helps with preserving the cleaner and allowed for spraying the cleaner directly onto the tires. Didnโt effect the chrome wheels but did have a bucket of soap & water handy cleaning them in between scrubbing stages. -To save time use an Air Compressor for drying the wet tires before applying the dressing. -Take your time, apply the dressing in sections & use the air compressor to dry as you go. -Used the padded (not sponge) applicator to get a good base coat on the tires. -Used a small paint brush to get every nook and crevice. Also, helped w/preserving the dressing. -Applied around 2&1/2 coats to each tire - barely used a 1/4 of the bottle. Aside from the prep this is by far the best tire shine Iโve used so far - no sling/dry to the touch, water repellent, & pretty shiny - Very pleased/impressed with the results - Tires look great! Curious to see how long it lasts but read if you properly prep the tires the dressing will last longer. Definitely recommend this product.

Good things don't come easy..
When they say good things donโt come easy this is an exact testament to the phrase. Absolutely love the product however, your work is cut out for you. If you donโt have what it takes to do it right donโt bother because it will be a waste of money. absolutely love the product however, your work is cut out for you. I ended up applying three coats, one at a time going around and let it dry for a couple of hours. Supposedly it is fully cured within 24 hours. The product result looks absolutely amazing but again it is all in the workmanship of cleaning the tires the word to the wise if you think you have very harsh chemicals that have cleaned your rims and tires until now none of them do justice compared to the Dura tire cleaner kit.

This product is AMAZING!
I bought this Dura-Dressing for my 2018 2500 Silverado and for the tires on my Segway. I have read some bad reviews about this. The only way someone would say itโs bad is if they did not follow the instructions. For the first use I applied it to the tires on my Segway, it required 3 cleanings for each tire and allowing drying time between cleanings. I could not believe the amount of stuff that came off of the tires, by the 3rd cleaning the rinse water was clear. I waited until the tires were dry, using a leaf blower to speed it up. After the tires were dry I applied the first coat, after 15 minutes they still looked wet. Was I surprised when I touched them and they were completely dry! I applied the second coat and they turned out twice as shiny! If you are going to buy this, READ AND FOLLOW the instructions! It takes time to scrub clean each tire very well and apply the coating! Plan on an hour for each tire. Even the directions state โIf you donโt like the product, you did not follow the directions!โ Iโm waiting on the purchase of my new tires for my truck and apply it to them. I included a video of my Segway tires. The video was taken on a cloudy day. Pros This dressing will never โslingโ off on your vehicle. Dirt, mud and road grime will not stick to it. You do not need to reapply every week! A touch up may be required after a few months! It will not crack, peel or flake off! It gives your tires that WET look! Everything needed to get that great look your vehicle tires deserves is included. Cons, It takes time to do it right, you must clean each tire very well. If your not into reading directions, this will be the time to start.

Looks Great at First, Not Easy to Maintain
I left my original review below; after some time now it's gotten a little gunky. Tires will still look shiny when I reapply, but they don't look smooth due to gunk and build up. It got difficult to maintain. It ended turning into a process where I had to set aside a few hours to clean it right and start fresh. Ultimately I went back to a spray on tire shine to save myself that extra time for ease of use. Reduced my review to 3 stars because it does look great, has an awesome shine to it and once it's dry it doesn't run, so no splatter on the sides of my car. It really just comes down to which method is easiest on cleaning and on time. Wiping down the car if a simple spray does splatter turns out to be easier than having to scrub down the tires and spend a few hours to start this products process all over again. Original review: First and most important thing: plan and set aside at least 3 to 4 hours, or more, depending on how dirty your tires are if you want a good result. SECOND MAJOR THING TO DO: watch a few videos from Dura-Dressing and other individual videos on YouTube to get a very good idea of what to expect. My tires are brand new and they only had 1 application of tire shine at the dealership, so cleaning them wasn't too hard. You'll definitely see the brown gunk foam and drip off as you clean the tires and that same foam will turn white when they're clean. Apply the cleaner liberally and scrub away! The videos I found showed a leaf blower being used to dry off the wheels, as well as a hand towel. Make sure you blow dry the inner wheel well if you do use a blower because that water will come back to drip on your work when you're applying the dressing later. The dressing spreads easy and a little bit goes a long way. Keep a wet towel near you to wipe off any excess that gets on the wheel because it will leave a residue, but don't panic if it's does. Just lightly wipe down the residue with a wet towel and dry it with a dry towel. Apply the dressing at will and use the blower or the sponge to even out the "white puddles/suds", you'll know exactly what I'm talking about if you watch a few videos before doing the work. I applied a few coats of dressing and it looked great! Once they all dried up I threw 1 more coat on and BAM!! Tires look super wet! ๐ But they're dry!!! ๐๐๐๐๐คช Now comes the test of time; Let's see how they look as time goes by, will check back in later.

Ceramic Coating for Tires!
I try to leave reviews for Products that I would definitely recommend for friends and family If you like to take care of your vehicle vehicles and keep them clean, one of your least favorite parts about cleaning your vehicle is cleaning the tires. With this product it essentially gives you a nice sheen, not overly glossy, and residue free. Iโve used this product on mini vehicles and through countless car washes. I found that this product typically last about 18-24 months or so before needing to be touched up, but this is through mud rocks, all kinds of terrain, and Iโve gotten countless compliments on how good the tires look. The initial process is fairly labor some and it takes about 4 to 5 washings per Tire, but they come out looking flawless and after about an hour, you can touch the tires and what normally you would get grease or grime on your fingers. Itโs completely dry and has no residue. This is basically a ceramic coating for your tires. I coated these tires a couple months ago and I havenโt washed this vehicle in a couple weeks. Highly recommend!

Absolutely incredible results. Just did the tire clean (3 cycles) then 2 dressing cycles and what an incredible job. Will absolutely be a lifelong customer. Yes it took me 2 hours but made sure the tires were cleaned properly and the results speak for themselves. Extremely happy with this.
