EXCELLENT Quality, Vibrant Lush Green Color, Mellow and Flavorful Taste.....
I drink matcha 3 times a day, sometimes more. I have had some really good Matcha as well as some really bad Matcha that I wouldn't even bother baking with. I love it when I find a Matcha with awesome quality and flavor. This Matcha from Ocha & Co is an excellent quality Matcha as far as I'm concerned. The color is a vibrant beautiful green. It smells fresh and slightly toasted with hints of nori ( which I LOVE), tastes wonderful with fresh green vegetal notes present and NO bitterness what so ever. It's mellow and flavorful at the same time. It blends well with water and is smooth when you drink it...it can be made as a tea and sipped ( it's that good) or blended in a latte ( I've done both) you could bake with it BUT I won't with this one - it's to good to waste on baking in my opinion. This one is for drinking and enjoying ! This was shipped registered mail directly from Japan and got here surprisingly fast. The packaging is a foil type ziplock package that reseals really well. For the price I have to say that I think it's a deal with awesome value for an Organic High Quality Matcha! I believe Anyone who really loves Matcha will appreciate and love this one by Ocha & Co. I know that I will be ordering this as one of my regular keep in house Matcha. I have attached some pictures of the powder and also of the matcha after I added a little water so that you can see the first mark of great quality matcha ---COLOR. The powder is much more vibrant "in person".

Best tasting Matcha on the market. Also free of lead and heavy metals.
Amazing Matcha! Top notch quality. I’m very upset, it’s not available right now. It’s hard to find great quality smooth tasting Macha on the market that is clean of lead and heavy metals. This company is super transparent and legit.

Try it! You will love it
This tea has the perfect taste. Matcha best value. Its rich, vibrant green color and smooth texture make it a delightful addition to any beverage. The subtle earthiness of the matcha complements various flavors, whether enjoyed on its own or blended into lattes, smoothies, or desserts. With its numerous health benefits, including antioxidants and a natural energy boost, matcha is not just a delicious choice but also a nourishing one. Sipping this tea becomes a ritual, a moment to pause and appreciate the intricate balance of flavor and wellness it brings.

Perfect for lattes but smells like seaweed
I got the Kyoto Uji Matcha, and I think it's worth it! The powder itself is green and super vibrant and not yellow at all (cheaper matchas tend to be slightly yellow from oxidation (aka they're not that fresh)). After mixing it with water and sugar, it smelled a lot like roasted seaweed which is fine but it DID have the salty, ocean smell that almost reached the territory of fishy imo. As a latte, it's really smooth, and has a well balanced flavor. A bit of sweetness and a bit of umami plus a tiny hint of roasted notes which might be from the seaweed smell of it. Definitely makes a nice sweet latte though if you're adding sugar. You'll be able to taste the matcha flavor without it being over powering and bitter. Overall it's great and worth the money but be aware that it does smell like seaweed in case you're sensitive to smells which is why I'm only doing 4/5 stars. Also if you need a latte recipe, TRUST ME ON THIS!!!! whisk 3 g of matcha with 5 g of sugar and 50 ml of water. Once fully combined, add in 20 g of sweetened condensed milk, 200 ml of milk, and then some ice. you'll get a really creamy matcha latte that's on the sweeter side. highly recommend

Flavorful, STRONG, Affordable
Really good, BUT IF YOU ARE CAFFEINE SENSITIVE BE AWARE PLEASE!!! I got this, and I’m normally not too sensitive to caffeine but wow is this strong. It’s very flavorful and naturally a little sweet. But if you can’t handle that caffeine stick to no more than 2g.

The best quality matcha I've tried - Sweet yet balanced
This is genuinely one of the best matcha on the market. It is in the pricier side but the quality is worth the price. Its has a sweet scent which is noticeable from the bag as well as a the perfect beautiful green colour. Would definitely recommend !! :)

Fresh & Energizing!
This matcha is high quality—vibrant green, smooth, and not bitter at all. It froths beautifully and has a rich, earthy flavor with a natural sweetness. Perfect for lattes, smoothies, or even baking. Plus, the energy boost is clean and long-lasting without any jitters. Highly recommend for matcha lovers!

Worth a try; light flavor with a strong aroma
I'm relatively new to the world of matcha, so take this review with a grain of salt. The flavor of this matcha is significantly different from the brand I used previously (also culinary grade). It seems a bit lighter/less overall flavor and has its own unique aroma that is slightly fishy-er and less grassy (it's a very hard flavor to define). I haven't tasted this flavor in any other matcha I've had commercially prepared (in a coffee shop) either. It's not good or bad; just different. The color is obviously brighter and more vibrant green; I assume this means there's less oxidation of the product and it's, therfore, fresher, but I have no other proof to back this up. I'm not sure if it's common to have such big differences between the flavor profiles of culinary grade matcha as this is only the second brand I've bought for home use.
