Did Not Fit (Flange to small for stock exhaust) 2011 Ford Mustang GT 5.0
I have bought aFe products in the past and they were great, however, this exhaust system did not have the flanged exhaust to fit onto the stock exhaust of my 2011 Ford Mustang GT (look closely at the pictures!!). I was really excited to install this exhaust, after an hour of fighting to get the stock exhaust off, I went to install the aFe axle-back just to realize it would not fit!Overall it was a big hassle: had to remove stock exhaust, found out the aFe axle-back would not fit over stock exhaust, then I took it to an exhaust shop and sat in the waiting room for an hour just for them to tell me they could not install it without ruining the bolt-on accessibility... err, then I reinstalled the stock exhaust, had to repackage the aFe exhaust, then called Amazon in order to get a free return label, and then finally had to drive up to an UPS store to return the exhaust. It was a huge time sink!!!!I may still buy aFe products in the future, however, I will look very closely at the fitment before buying!!

For whatever reason the price on Amazon was half what I found elsewhere which made me think these might be too good to be true
Surprisingly well made - the pictures don't do it justice. For whatever reason the price on Amazon was half what I found elsewhere which made me think these might be too good to be true. But I took a chance and these sound great (a lower, louder, more bass-y sound). The do have a hum at 2000 2500 RPM so be aware that the cabin noise will be noticeable. With a K&N air filter you should feel a small boost in hp though don't expect to be blown away.
